1. GlobalBioSquad 6 months later… What has been happening?
There have been countless ideas, a focused desire to provide the best way to create
business for our clients, and a working relationship we have thoroughly enjoyed.
Claire has found a new way to increase her clients’ sales capabilities by providing training sessions
for prospecting, approaching clients, following-up etc…
Delphine has invested time and energy (and liters of coffee) in a MBA at McGill-HEC Montréal to
enhance her business and finance expertise to support her clients with strategic scouting in the US
and due diligence work.
Celine has started her own business and is helping two European companies to develop their
businesses in UK and in Europe.
They are three very busy business women but they never miss their monthly meetings. This time
together is very important. It is a precious time to share stories about their experiences, joys and
sometimes disappointments. These meetings strengthen their collaboration and allow them to
exchange thoughts and imagine new solutions for their business and their clients. As everyone
knows: together we are stronger and we go further
They are now working on creating business by focusing on building the sustainable relationships.
Obvious? Not to everyone.
We’ll talk about client relationship, not networking or small talks, not with investors but CLIENTS.
But first, here is a simple recipe to build relationships:
Start slowly sending a kind email about you and your future call… and few days later:
2. 1. Email your prospect
2. Take your phone /Call your prospect
3. Repeat (in a soft but determined manner) until you get in touch with the right
contact
4. Plan a meeting
First objective reached! But don’t relax your vigilance and during the meeting with your prospect:
1. Be curious and keep an open-mind
2. Ask questions to your contact and about his/her business
3. Listen carefully to your prospect. Listen and then listen some more.
In this way, you’ll create confidence and the sales process should be easier.
Is everyone capable of calling prospects? Perhaps, perhaps not. You need to be determined,
persistent and…. don’t forget to put a big, beautiful smile in your voice.
On the Telephone, Your Voice Accounts for 84 Percent of Your Effectiveness.
This is the most important thing I learned when I was Customer Service Manager. It’s the same
when prospecting! Don’t be nervous. The phone is a fantastic way to hear and listen to your future
client. Be enthusiastic because it’s your first (almost) physical meeting with your client. You need
to make a great first impression!
If you can’t, if you don’t dare, if you hesitate, if you don’t have time, don’t panic. GlobalBioSquad
can help you. We are experts and we’ll be glad to do that for you.
