The future
The next challenge for Camps Solicitors
is managing Auto-enrolment. With their
staging date in January 2014, Camps
Solicitors are already speaking to
pension advisors and to Sage HR &

of the process. Jo Quigley explains: “I’m

With growing numbers of employees,
Camps Solicitors may also look at
adding Learning and Development to
their solution in a years’ time, to help
them track and manage staff training.
That will follow on from a successful
Auto-enrolment staging in January 2014
and build on their experience of using
the Sage solution.

With over 30 years’ experience in the
legal industry, Camps Solicitors
operates across the UK and specialises
in managing personal injury claims. The
company employees just under 300
staff including solicitors, secretaries,
support staff and call centre staff. They
cover a number of different areas of law
including, road traffic accidents,
professional negligence, clinical
negligence and lead the UK’s largest
mass litigation case. Having grown
rapidly over the last few years, Camps
Solicitors needed a software solution
that could support their business now
and in the future.
Challenge and solution
A growing team meant more HR
information to be stored. Camps
Solicitors realised that the old system of
spreadsheets wasn’t efficient and
looked for a more sustainable and
automated solution. The relatively small
HR team also needed software that
would enable them to reduce the cost
and errors they encountered when
outsourcing their payroll and bring it
back in house.
