11. Lessons Learned & Future Considerations
Resident communication
• Issue: Getting a hold of residents without email was tricky (esp. for liability contract signing)
• Potential solutions:
⚬ Liability contracts as part of the application
⚬ Response deadlines
Tree work scheduling
• Issue: Arborguard schedules work on a week-by-week basis, some residents weren't prepared for such
short notice
• Potential solution: Set expectations early on
Invasive tree removal
• We did not remove invasive trees during this program that were non-hazardous, but will likely include
this next time
