2) Details on an in-class activity where students will present success and failure stories from their skills matrices and receive peer feedback.
3) Announcements regarding submitting final skills matrices and signing up for office hours.
4) Information on completing an emotional capital report assessment and attending a tutorial the following week to discuss results.

12. EQ Assessment: Emotional Capital Report (ECR)
1. Refer to Canvas Announcement titled “ECR Assessment
Instructions.”
2. Click on the link in the announcement and complete assessment
no later than Sunday, January 27th (by 11:59pm).
a. Assessment takes max 10-15 minutes to complete
b. You will be emailed your assessment on the day of your
tutorial (January 28th – February 1st)
Important: Business Career Centre Coaches will be leading your
ECR tutorials. GO TO YOUR DESIGNATED TUTORIAL during the
week of Jan 27th – Feb 1st. Bring your laptop to tutorial so you can
access your emailed assessment results.

What is the Emotional Capital Report (ECR) tool?
The Emotional Capital Report is an Emotional Intelligence development tool that provides individuals with a comprehensive interpretation of their 10 strengths (or leadership competencies) based on their emotional intelligence. It has been vigorously tested for validity and reliability with over 3240 profiles and 10,000 reports over 15+ years of research to develop a 77 question assessment.
Everything you need to know is in the Canvas announcement that was posted on Friday Sept. 21st
Click on the link in the announcement to access the Assessment. Follow instructions.
You have until Sept. 30th at 11:59pm to finish the assessment.
On the day of your tutorial during the week of Oct. 1st to 5th, you will be emailed your results
Remember to GO TO YOUR OWN TUTORIAL, and BRING YOUR LAPTOP
Your ECR Assessment results are confidential, and only you will see them!
During your tutorial next week, your Career Coaches will lead you through the importance of developing your EQ, how to interpret your ECR assessment results, and how to implement effective action plans for boosting your EQ so you can better navigate and be more successful in your personal and professional life.
