Proposal For Our Animation
Olivia, Siri, Zai
Initial Idea 1 : Pringles Advert
• Pringles coming out from
packet, vegetables and
spices circling the packet
e.g., onions and basil
(matching to the flavor of
the Pringles we will use
pixilation for this,.
• A real life character could
pick up the Pringles (we can
just film this) whilst this
happens all the animation
stops
• In the animation, we can
use drawn on film at the
end to draw the Pringles
logo.
• In the background we can
Have sound effects like eating
Sounds and instrumentals in
the background
• We researched stop motion
videos on Youtube in search
for inspiration for our
animation
• We came across a skittles
advert, the advert was not
the best produced, but had
a child-like feel to it.
• We liked this concept of the
skittles circling the packet,
and making different
shapes (waves, circles, ect)
Initial Idea 2 : TV Show
Introduction
• Character walks in behind a green
screen.
• We can draw a background
animation, behind the green
screen. We can draw the
background going backwards so it
appears as though the character is
walking past everything
• We can draw things like clouds and
rain, and the character can hold an
umbrella when it rains… There can
be summer, winter, spring and
autumn.
• The character can wear the clothes
that match the weather
Initial Idea 3 : Bag pack Advert
• We can do an advert for
the bag
• Objects can be moving
inside, slowly coming out
from the bag and going
back in .
• We will use pixilation
• We can show how
different people can
wear this bag like :
Students, Teachers,
office people, travelers
We decided ….
Oppan Pringle Style Soundtrack
• We decided to use the Gangnam Style soundtrack as many people have heard it
and find it catchy
• By using the song, we can get the audiences attention, It also makes the advert
unique from others.
• We used Garage Band
to record and create
the song.
• We used the
Gangnam Style
instrumental so
people can recognize
the song immediately.
If does not
work, we will
play after
slideshow
How we will get the animation
done
Techniques we will use
• Stop motion
• Pixilation
How we will film and capture footage
• We will take continuous images with a camera
lended from Media, we will import these images to
final cut express and match the images to the
music (obviously shortening to create a quick/fast/
continuous flow to the animation
• (left) We will use real life humans alongside the
animation using pringles. When the humans come
in, the pringles animation freezes (more
explanation on story board slide)

Oppan Pringles Style

  • 1. Proposal For Our Animation Olivia, Siri, Zai
  • 2. Initial Idea 1 : Pringles Advert • Pringles coming out from packet, vegetables and spices circling the packet e.g., onions and basil (matching to the flavor of the Pringles we will use pixilation for this,. • A real life character could pick up the Pringles (we can just film this) whilst this happens all the animation stops • In the animation, we can use drawn on film at the end to draw the Pringles logo. • In the background we can Have sound effects like eating Sounds and instrumentals in the background • We researched stop motion videos on Youtube in search for inspiration for our animation • We came across a skittles advert, the advert was not the best produced, but had a child-like feel to it. • We liked this concept of the skittles circling the packet, and making different shapes (waves, circles, ect)
  • 3. Initial Idea 2 : TV Show Introduction • Character walks in behind a green screen. • We can draw a background animation, behind the green screen. We can draw the background going backwards so it appears as though the character is walking past everything • We can draw things like clouds and rain, and the character can hold an umbrella when it rains… There can be summer, winter, spring and autumn. • The character can wear the clothes that match the weather
  • 4. Initial Idea 3 : Bag pack Advert • We can do an advert for the bag • Objects can be moving inside, slowly coming out from the bag and going back in . • We will use pixilation • We can show how different people can wear this bag like : Students, Teachers, office people, travelers
  • 6. Oppan Pringle Style Soundtrack • We decided to use the Gangnam Style soundtrack as many people have heard it and find it catchy • By using the song, we can get the audiences attention, It also makes the advert unique from others. • We used Garage Band to record and create the song. • We used the Gangnam Style instrumental so people can recognize the song immediately. If does not work, we will play after slideshow
  • 7. How we will get the animation done Techniques we will use • Stop motion • Pixilation How we will film and capture footage • We will take continuous images with a camera lended from Media, we will import these images to final cut express and match the images to the music (obviously shortening to create a quick/fast/ continuous flow to the animation • (left) We will use real life humans alongside the animation using pringles. When the humans come in, the pringles animation freezes (more explanation on story board slide)
  • 8. Audience, Problems, Props/Material Props/Materials • Pringles tubes • Spices • Gangnam Style face cut out • Cut out stars/shapes • Camera, editing suite • Background paper Audience • The product appeals to a wide range of people, with the different flavors. • We are targeting a wide range of people, specifically ages 10-30 (children, teenage and young adult) • This Gangnam style soundtrack may appeal to this range of people Problems • The lighting might change as we are using classroom tables. • We need to make it as accurate as possible, meaning we need to use little movement per frame
