The Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC) is a new global network of leaders from competitiveness councils around the world aimed at enabling information exchange and cooperation on global economic challenges and opportunities. Innovation, sustainability, and resilience are key to national competitiveness but must now be addressed globally. The GFCC was founded by leaders from Egypt, Brazil, South Korea, Russia, UAE, US, and Saudi Arabia to guide national competitiveness based on 10 principles including public-private partnerships, investment in R&D, developing workforce skills, and benchmarking competitiveness metrics.
