Technical Recruiter. This was a three month Contract Recruiting assignment for the Microsoft Account.
Recruited for Technical Development and Product Manager Positions. Placements averaged 9 per month
as this was a high volume environment.
The Harris Plan 2001-2003
Principal. The Harris Plan was my own Recruitment Practice built from my existing relationships in the
greater Seattle area. Conducted local and national searches for technical positions and technical sales
positions. Client companies and candidates sought me out to drive searches. Partnered with other
search companies in other national markets. Successfully profitable business within first year.
Metro Information Services 1996-2001
Division Director. Recruited to open the Seattle Area Office for a national IT Services firm based in
Virginia. Responsibilities involved soup to nuts from business development, and day to day operations
with P&L responsibility. Brought in the following clients – Microsoft, Safeco Insurance, Washington
Mutual Bank, Nordstrom, and numerous start ups during the “dot-com” boom. Hired a recruiting team
of 5 people to fill position requirements and 2 Account Managers to manage existing business and bring
in new business.
Computer Skills
Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) – various Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)—PeopleSoft,
Taleo, Jobvite, MSOffice, Internet, string searches through Linked In and Indeed. DICE and Monster
