1. The DM2E project aggregates metadata and content about digitized manuscripts from several European libraries and archives. 2. It develops an interoperability infrastructure using the Europeana Data Model and a DM2E extension to integrate heterogeneous metadata into a linked open data cloud. 3. The project also builds digital humanities applications like Pundit to showcase the usefulness of linked open data for research.
