SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Oversight of all aspects of the Real Estate and Facilities Department for a mid-size international
corporation. Duties include management of approximately 1.7 million sq. ft. of office space, lease
negotiations, construction, site selection and all technology issues related to offices.
• Opened operations for the company in Australia including all aspects of making the company
operational in the country.
• Oversight of the relocation of 300,000 square foot regional headquarters for BG Group in Houston
including selection of brokers, site selection, architects, design, furniture acquisition, construction
and move-in.
• Negotiation of airline, hotel, rental car and other travel service contracts. Development of
comprehensive travel and entertainment policy and extensive data analysis and reporting. Also
responsible for development and management of company’s records management policy.
Responsible for business services including outsourcing contracts, transportation and parking policy
and various other services in support of operations of an international corporation.
• Managed business unit responsible for purchasing in excess of $15 million annually. Areas of
responsibility included facility management, office services and administration. Negotiation and
oversight of service contracts for virtually all service related needs for corporate headquarters.
• Directed facility acquisition, leasing, and programming, design, construction, relocation and furniture
installation for a regional corporate headquarters of 236,000 square feet as well as regional field
offices and medical facilities.
• Facilities Manager for the regional headquarters with staff growth from 750 to over 1200 employees
during my term. Maximized the use of existing space to reduce lease expenses and delay need for
additional lease space. Responsible for development of all policies relating to my areas of
responsibility
• Managed division of 43 employees including developing and monitoring budgets, negotiating
regional and national purchasing agreements and acquisition of office equipment, supplies, furniture
and services. Division also consisted of a large in-house print shop, mail room and
warehouse/document storage facility.
• Managed a commercial furniture dealership with oversight responsibilities for designers and project

• Planned logistics for integration of over 6,000 employees of Exxon and Mobil Oil subsequent to the
merger of the two companies. Overall migration involved locations worldwide and approximately 5
million square feet in Houston

international. Specifically Australia, Brazil, Africa, Canada and multiple locations in the USA

Regional Manager, Business Services – The Americas and Global LNG
Responsibilities included oversight of all Real Estate/Facility matters for the region including multiple
international projects (Australia, Brazil, and Equatorial Guinea). Oversight of high profile relocation of
regional headquarters in Houston to a new 300,000+ square foot facility in downtown Houston
including everything from site selection, lease negotiations, architect and contractor selection, design,
construction and move-in to BG Group Place. Responsible for Travel Management including
negotiations with travel providers (agencies, airlines, hotels).

Responsible for real estate and facilities managing approximately 2 million square feet of office space.
Global travel services, facility outsourcing agreements, corporate records retention and various other
facility related duties. Interact extensively with executive management including the Chairman,
President and CEO.

Manager, Facilities Planning and Management, Purchasing and Group Services 2/89-11/94
Oversight of day-to-day operations of a regional corporate headquarters. Areas of responsibility
included negotiation and oversight of service contracts supporting headquarters facility, developing and
managing in-house print shop, records retention, mailroom, marketing support, transportation, all
printing services (business cards, letterhead, brochures, etc.). Additionally, responsible for
development, communication and implementation of all policies and procedures.
In addition to day-to-day management of existing facility, managed space programming, planning,
design and construction of a new headquarters facility and move-in to the facility. All project were
completed project on time and under budget.
Position was also responsible for purchasing services for Southwest region including regular day-to-
day purchases as well as purchases of medical furniture, fixtures and equipment for medical facilities
throughout the region as well as general oversight for facility issues for those medical facilities.
Manager, PruCare of Houston 9/88 – 2/89
General administrative responsibilities for the operation, including facility management, data reporting
and analysis for expense management, provider utilization management and budget oversight. Worked
closely with our contracted medical providers on operational issues. Was responsible for development
