email and web to deliver sales and the message
across a website.
IDENTITY
Who makes me? I am Daniela known as Dani, I am 24 years old and I was
Born in El Salvador, and came to the United States 7 years ago. I was raised by
A single mother, and I was taught from a very young age to always go for my dreams
And for what I believe in.
My dream is to work for a company in the Marketing side and make an impact in that
Office and work with big campaigns.
What makes me unique is that I am bilingual, and I go above and beyond when it comes
To my professional world.
SKILLS
Some of the skills that I have are that, I am a very detailed and organized
person
I am very reliable and honest
I am bilingual
I have knowledge and the capacity to work with all Microsoft Platforms and
Adobe
PROFESSION
I am a social media correspondent and I work for a non-profit, working for a
ministry is very different that working for a regular company.
Perhaps, people still get confused and aren’t 100% sure of the difference and what
it takes to be behind a ministry.
It takes a lot of work and effort and mainly heart. I think that every job is that
way, but with this one, I have to excel even more.
I read the comments of people/costumers and put myself in their shoes and try to
approach them in a way that they would like to be treated, I think my way of
standing out is, I reply funny comments or I come with ideas to make the job more
fun, and pleasing for the people contacting us.
CREDENTIALS
What makes me trustworthy? You know at the beginning this to me was very hard
to understand when employers meant by this.
They barely know the person, they go off by your resume, and by the way you
present yourself into the interview.
I always thought that was interesting on how you can be trustworthy to a
company that you are just now starting to work, but then I realized, and found
that you are trustworthy in your personal and professional life when you are
honest with whoever it is, no matter who they are or where they come from or how
they look like. My previous employers were always satisfied with my work
performance, that they trusted me to have more because they knew I could get it
done and it was going to be right. They knew that they could trusted me with
important and confidential information that I wouldn’t go around spilling the
soup. This to me, means a lot because it’s helped me grow personally and
professionally.
PROMISE
How do I go about resolving any issues..
Simple, I am very honest person and when something is not right, when
something is bothering and I think there are ways to fix it I will go ahead and
approach the person, this could be my coworker or manager and say in a very
professional way that there is something we could do to either change or make the
process or the campaign, project, etc. easier
Giving opinions and ideas and thoughts is never a bad thing but it really depends
on how you approach others. Depending on the tone of voice, you could hurt
others, and that creates conflict within the department or coworkers.
I am a good team player, and thankfully, I’ve never had to experience any
confrontation or discomfort within coworkers, managers or team.
POSITIONING
I think that what causes me to stand out and be unique than my competitors is
that I have a heart for my job and the company I work for.
No, is never a thing you will hear from me, I will always go that extra mile to
make my job a better one every day.
Competition is always going to exist and others will be better than others, is
what and how you present yourself to others that makes you, you. I will show my
talents, and the capacity and the potential that I have in order to prove the
company that this is the person they are looking for to complete the team and
make all their dreams come true.
AUDIENCE
What are others wanting to know more about myself?
Well, that I am funny, quiet and shy at the beginning, very outgoing, caring,
loving, honest, responsible and punctual.
The audience that I need to find in order to grow and show them the talent I
possess, I can go to Linkedin and interact with higher ups and giving them a little
bit about me, so they can research me more. Another thing, is going to network
events, I love those because I get to talk to a person who I see potential with,
NETWORKING AND MARKETING
For me to be able to create a connection and get my future employer’s attention
I would go to as many networking events as possible, because I think it’s one and
great way to connect with others. Specially when you are trying really hard to
build connections and get yourself somewhere, where you are known and you can
shine in your job.
COMPETITORS
When I think of competitors I always think of how stressful and how hard it is to
get where you want to. I’m always thinking that they are better than me and
because of that I will not get very far. I am always scared and I doubt myself a lot
more than I should.
Ashley Haubrick, she is going for Media Communications at Full Sail, the only
advantages that I see is that I have experience in the field already, versus her
current jobs and past experience does not show as many experience as one job
would prefer.
I need to trust myself more, and know that competition will be there, but that I
have to show my talents with confidence and deliver a good impression to get to
where I want to get.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
What I need to get growing and started with my personal career so that I can find
a great job once I’m done with school career.
I want to be able to create a portfolio so that I can be prepared with materials
that I can show my talents so that the company can see what I can bring
something great for the company. I will try to connect the most with my
professors and look up to their advice and help on which direction to go for.
I will also try to look at the company and see if I can connect with the HR and the
management team.
GOALS
My goals, are to be a successful woman for me and for my loved ones. To show my
potential and to be confident in showing exactly who I am without thinking I cant.
I want to grow my brand and show the world who I am and what I am made of, I
want to be consistent with my brand so that others who are still doubting
themselves can get confident and trust in themselves so that they can go that extra
mile.
I want to increase my Linkedin so that I can grow my profile, and my connections
with others that already have experience.
