Currently a Systems Analyst (previously GIS Analyst) with the City of Asheville, co-captain/co-founder of the Code for Asheville Brigade, and a co-founder of a web-based software that helps people create, plan, and do outdoor adventures. A BIG advocate of using Open Source software, especially in local Government. The culture and the values of Open Source fits my ethos. My 20 years of experience in GIS spans several industries – mapping, consulting, County Government, Public Schools, and City Government. The majority of the time working on web mapping and Geo-Spatial Database Administration.
