Over the last 15 years, I have been working in the rapidly-evolving arena of optical networking. I have developed a strong and broad expertise in digital communication and optical fiber networks. I work at ECI telecom as a Senior Research Engineer in the Optical Research and Networking Group. My research oriented skills have enabled me to drive innovation in metro, regional, and long-haul DWDM network design, which now includes advanced optical modulation formats at very high speed rates (>100 Gbps), DSP, flex-grid ROADM-enabled network and smart and effective optical performance monitoring techniques.
