A young boy bullies a deaf girl when they’re in elementary school. When he takes things too far, he becomes a class outcast for his actions, and learns how it feels to be on the receiving end of his classmate’s derision.
Fast forward, and he’s in high school. He runs into the girl again, and decides he wants to try to make amends.
A touching, funny and fascinating comic about an unusual friendship. From the artist who did Mardock Scramble. Created in association w/ Japanese Federation of the Deaf

Kousei Arima is a piano prodigy. When he was very young, he was recognized as a top talent/rising star in classical piano competitions. But thanks to his strict, now deceased mother, he’s a bit of a basket case. He can hear fine – but in the middle of competitions, he can’t hear the music he’s playing. Then one day in April, he meets Kaori, a free-spirited, passionate violin player who pushes him into performing with her on stage. She reawakens his love for music, but not without struggles and some heartbreak along the way.
A lovely story with a love triangle, dynamic music scenes and drama. Anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Chitose is a young woman, an orphan who has had a pretty tough life but things take a strange turn when she gets purchased at a slave auction by Eilas Ainsworth, a tall, elegant man who basically has a horned skull for a head. Eilas is a sorcerer, and he tells chitose that he’s now his apprentice and his bride.
Chitose is special – she can attract the attention of magical beings of all kinds – a trait that made her an outcast in the normal world, but makes her a perfect apprentice for a sorcerer.
If this was a YA novel, it’d be a huge seller.

College freshman Ken Kaneki can’t seem to get a break. Unlucky with the ladies, he meets a cute girl who seems into him… only to discover that she’s a ghoul, an undead being that feeds off human flesh. A freak accident in the middle of the girl’s feeding frenzy means that Ken ends up with a body that’s half human, half ghoul. And the side effect of that is, he develops an inhuman taste for human flesh.
Clever take on zombie comics, full of action and twists.
