In its early years its main target demographic were young adults but today it’s
target audience is extended to adolescents as well as young adults .
MTV has spawned numerous sister channels and affiliated channels
internationally.
As of August 2013, approximately 97,654,000 American households which is
85.51% which receive MTV.
