Leader: Today we are united by the
Living God who creates us, redeems
us and enlivens us.
All: Amen.

P: “There is one body
and one Spirit, just as
you were called in one
hope of your calling;
one Lord, one faith, one
baptism; one God and
father of all, and in you
all.

But to each one of us
grace was given according
to the measure of Christ’s
gift.” (Ephesians 4) Let us
bear witness to these
words by confessing to
God and one another our
giftedness.

All: We confess that we
were made in the image
and likeness of God.
Each of us has been
endowed with many
unique gifts. These
gifts are ours to be
used for the benefit of
the kingdom of God
and to God’s glory.

We are, each of
us, amazing. We are
masterpieces of
God, beautiful and of
great worth. We are of
such worth that the
God of the universe
became one of us in
order to save all of us.

We are salt and light for
the world. We are God’s
partners for creating a
just and peaceful world.
P: We live in a world full of
enmity and strife. We live in
a world with rich and poor;
hungry and
overfed, included and
excluded. What shall we do
with our gifts?

All: We will see all
people as gifted. We
choose to look for the
inherent worth of every
