14. What is Good Customer Service?
1. Have a good attitude. They are more important
than you are, so act like they are. They are the
reason you have a job, so act like they are.
2. Go to them; don't ask them to come to you.
3. Ask them, "How may I help you?" "How may I be
of service?"
4. Don't tell them about your problems, listen to
theirs.
5. Be quiet when they talk. You can't talk and
listen at the same time. Listen then ask if you
don’t understand.

6. Don’t make your customers wait. Respond
immediately to an inquiry. If you can't answer their
question immediately, tell them when you can.
7. Be helpful. Reduce the amount of work the customer
has to do to get their problem solved.

"better" alternatives. Be specific in your response. Be
sincere.
