3. Study on 832 Subjects
• Time of wake up: it was sadly
found that only 53.97% (449) of
total population was waking up
before 6.00am.
• 25% of total subjects were not at
all performing any sort of Exercise.
4. Datun
• it was seen that 94.15% of the
subjects (787) used toothpastes,
whereas none of them used the
kashtha (thin branch) of the trees as
it is mentioned in the Ayurvedic
texts.
5. Nasya
• Putting 3 to 5 drops of warm ghee or oil
into each nostril in the morning helps to
lubricate the nose, clean the sinuses, and
improve voice, vision, and mental clarity.
• For vata: sesame oil, ghee, or vacha
(calamus) oil.
• For pitta: brahmi ghee, sunflower or
coconut oil.
• For kapha: vacha (calamus root) oil.

• ससर में जमा कफ को ननकालने के सलए वैरेचननक
धूम्र एवं वात के सलए स्नैहिक धूम्र | वपत्त में धूम्र न
करें|
• ससददरद मे अत्यन्त उपयोगी
• अनत ननद्रा, भोजन मे अरुचच, कृ सम में भी उपयोगी
• स्नान करके , भोजन करके , वमन करके , नस्य ले
कर, सो के उठकर, प्रसन्न मन िो तब धूम्र को
पीना चाहिए|

irregular timings of consuming food.
10. Breakfasts, Lunch, Dinner
• Eating the largest meal of the
day at lunchtime aligns with the
pitta time of day, from 10am until
2pm, when the digestive fire is
strongest.

आहद भारी पदार्द न लें| ३ घंटे से
पिले कु छ भी न खाए| ६ घंटे से
ज्यादा भूखे न रिें|
• शाम का भोजन सूयादस्त से पिले
या जजतना िो सके जल्दी| शाम का
भोजन िल्का िोना चाहिए|
11. Sleep timings
• Also 69% of the subjects sleeps
after 10.00 pm which might lead to
problems related to digestion,
wrinkles, dark eye shadows, etc.
12. SADVRITHA: Code of Conduct
One should abstain from
• Himsa(Torture)
• Steya(Stealing)
• Anyathakama(Unlawful Sex)
• Paisunya(Harsh or abusive words)
• Anruta Vacahana(Scolding)
• Sambhinna Alapa(speech causing separation)
• Vyapada(quarrel)
• Abhidya(jealousy)
• Drgviparyaya(finding fault)
• Those who have no means of livelihood & suffering from disease should be helped
• Beggars should not be disappointed, abused or objected
• One should maintain a balanced mind in wealth & poverty
• One should speak appropriate to the occasion & in brief
• One should neither believe nor suspect everybody
• One should not reveal his enemies
• One should walk with a foot wear and look straight at a distance of 4 arms length
• One should not sneeze, Laugh, Yawn without closing the mouth
13. Other daily activities
• Apply Oil to the Head & Body (Abhyanga)

• Gandhamala-dharana (Garlanding) or Use of perfumes
• Exercise: VYAYAMA: Exercise
• Exercising regularly helps in bringing lightness to the body,
ability to do heavy work, decrease fat and create a stable
physique.

• and metals in the form of jewellery)
• GANDOOSHA: Gargling
• Gargling with herbal decoctions or oils help in cleaning the
mouth from bacterias etc which will serve the purpose of a
mouth wash.

शेष रिते मंगल गीत आहद को सुनकर जागते र्े|
फफर सशव, देवी, गुरु, देवता, वपता, तीर्द, माता, देव
मंहदर तर्ा पुण्यक्षेिों एवं नहदयों का श्रवण करते
र्े| शौच आहद के पश्चात दन्त शुद्चध करते र्े|
उसके बाद कभी घर पर कभी सरयूमें जा कर स्नान
करते र्े.........
