Dear all,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be with you this morning! Sharing some of the things that I love to
do, and seeing your eagerness to learn more is very precious!
You have been privileged to have Dr. Lamprou as your professor. Not only she has years of experience in
many different areas of special education but she truly cares about each and every student she has.
Observing her today, I saw her passion in her work and how she very explicitly tried making connections with
your prior knowledge, to what I was saying!
Thank you for being flexible enough to allow me to bring Mr. Tomaras from next door to say a few things about
diagnosis. His many years of expertise in the Greek reality validates what really goes on.
I read over all the index cards that were given back to me this afternoon! If for any reason I did not answer
your personal questions, do send me an email and I will reply in a timely manner!
I will keep the words you all gave me as a motive to attempt speaking to a Greek audience again! These are
your words too; so do the best that you can to ensure you reach for the stars; so you can help every student
you come in contact with find success!

I wish we had more time together, as I have thousands of stories to share with you! Remember diagnostic
testing is to help us figure out what the student needs/gaps are; not to label them!
Wishing you the very best for your future professional development! I am confident that you will help many
students find success, along the way!
I will send you another email with information for the Colloquium to be held on April 21st and 22nd! A great
way to see my school up close and get to see some of the work we do! Do register on line though so we can
prepare enough materials for all the participants. www.acs.gr
The power point will be put up on the moodle cell by Dr. Lamprou.
Hope to meet up again!
Kind regards,
