YES!
• We search by key word
• We post in groups vs. general postings
• We find people who report to people who fit our searches
• We find references
• We learn about our industries
• We sleuthily search for people we are not connected with . . .
pretty tricky

• Join Groups

• Check out others in the group
• Is there a specific person on LinkedIn who has the job you
want? What does their profile look like?
• It is OK if the owner of a group is a recruiter
22. Group Settings
• You may want to change your properties for each group
• You will not drown in e-mail for updates
• You can check at your leisure
• Uncheck everything except: “Members of this group can
contact me and the logo can show up on my profile”
23. Recruiters Post Two Ways on LinkedIn

candidates and business development

37. What Duffy Group Clients Say…
• With the Duffy model, the process was shorter and more efficient,
and within our current budget constraints. We had the assistance of
the Duffy recruiter to help us distill our thinking to clarify just what we
were looking for. Her counsel was very instrumental in guiding us to
our decision.
• The Duffy recruiter provided me with qualified candidates only; not a
long list of candidates for the sake of a long list. She coordinated
the international interviews and interviews with my boss, and was
able to fit right in as part of the team.
