Our Centres
As part of our commitment, we have developed our schools in three of the best
locations in the UK: Greenwich, Brighton and Oxford. All offer central locations,
easy access, and a wealth of history and culture. Take a look on the following
pages.

7. London 07
London has something for everyone. It is a global, cosmopolitan
city full of different influences and tastes, so you’re sure to fit right
in. It certainly deserves its reputation as one of the most exciting
cities in the world.
Greenwich
Greenwich is unique! A World Heritage Site with stunning
architecture and cultural history, rightly deemed to be of world
significance, set within a modern and vibrant quarter of London.
Greenwich Borough has a diverse cultural life, good transport
links, eight miles of Thames river frontage and top class facilities
for sport, theatre, music and dance. The borough of Greenwich
has a wealth of visitor attractions, which helps to bring in over 9
million visitors a year to the area.
Greenwich is located in London Transport’s Travel Zone-2. Clock at Greenwich Observatory
Greenwich is very well served by public transport, with mainline
rail and Docklands Light Railway stations in the town centre.
This means that central London, Tower Hill (for The Tower of
London, Tower Bridge and St. Paul’s) or Charing Cross (for
Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden) are just
20 minutes away. You can also use the Thames Clipper boat
service to central London.
The whole area is very student focused, with Greenwich
Greenwich University
University, Goldsmiths’ College, The Laban Centre and Trinity
College of Music all in the immediate vicinity. This means that
there is a thriving student buzz throughout the area.
We are passionate about Greenwich and believe it offers the
best of both worlds. It is a green and pleasant place to live and
study, and within easy access of central London.

Principal’s Statement
As the Principal of the school, I am aware that the people who choose to come to us are not
just our students - they are our guests. For them to benefit fully from our excellent academic
programmes, we need to ensure that all their other needs have been met. We know that, although
it is always an exciting adventure to come to another country to study, it can sometimes also be
a little overwhelming. For this reason we put a strong emphasis on all aspects of our students’
stay. My door is always open and I encourage our students to come to me for support with any
challenge they may face as they settle into ‘The London Life’.
London is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city. As Samuel Johnson famously noted, ‘whoever is tired
Kris Hall, Principal,
StudyCentres Greenwich
of London is tired of life!’ With the help of our students and the experience of our staff we have
developed social programmes that encourage and support every student to make the most of the
exciting and interesting opportunities that the City has to offer.
We are proud to offer our students fantastic facilities that are so close to the heart of the city, and
yet, situated in the leafy, calm oasis that is historic Greenwich. However, it is the social environment
within the school - created by the mix of diverse cultures and nationalities sharing this wonderful
new space – that makes ISIS Greenwich the ideal place to study in London.

ISIS Greenwich
We have recently completed a £1million re-
development of our ISIS Greenwich school
providing a fantastic centre where you can
enjoy studying in London. Our stylish and
modern study centre is located right in the
heart of historic Greenwich. Students are
welcomed into an open and spacious reception
area and classes take place in large, bright
and airy classrooms, fitted with interactive
whiteboards. We have 3 computer suites with
35 computers available to all students and the
building has free wi-fi and is air-conditioned
throughout.
We also have 2 social rooms where we hold
regular student events – discos, karaoke and
international food nights - or they provide a
comfortable space where you can just relax
and chat with your new friends.
ISIS Greenwich is situated 2 minutes walk from
the centre of Greenwich, South East London
(Travel Zone-2). Location is very much part of
our success. Within walking distance you will
find a huge variety of shops, cafes, bars and ISIS Greenwich refurbishment project completed July 2011.
pubs. There is a multi-screen cinema opposite the school where
you can enjoy all the latest movies and Greenwich Post Office next door (handy for postcards and
changing your money!).
If you are feeling active after a hard day at school, the beautiful Greenwich Park is only two
minutes on foot - as are a wealth of World Heritage Status cultural attractions such as The
National Maritime Museum, The Old Royal Naval College (now Greenwich University), The Royal
Observatory and the famous Zero Meridian line. The London Planetarium has also recently
relocated to Greenwich.
If you want to enjoy all of central London’s attractions, the very centre of London (Charing Cross) is
just three stops away by direct train (20 minutes). From Charing Cross you can walk to
Trafalgar Square, Westminster, Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus.
We look forward to welcoming you to Greenwich.
