However, it is really important we don’t think families will live in a particular way just because of
where they are in the world.

The United Kingdom is a multicultural and diverse nation. This means that there are families from many
different backgrounds living here. Family life can be very varied.

Greenland is the world’s largest island. Two-thirds of the island is in the Arctic
Circle. The majority of people who live there are of Inuit heritage.

countries. Families also farm and go hunting and fishing for food which
includes seal, whale, lamb and reindeer. These are some of the foods people
might eat in Greenland.

fifth largest country in the world. People who
live here come from a range of cultures.

islands, some big and some small. Although there are
people from different cultures who live in Japan, most
people who live there are from a Japanese background.
