The Social Issue ● Gender inequality permeates several aspects of day to day life for all women regardless of sexual orientation, religion, race, or social class which makes it a unique social issue that promotes unity across different groups of women ● We can use social media to organize and bring awareness to this issue “"She was warned. If it is true that the full humanity of women is not our culture, then we can and must make it our culture.” -Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Social Media will improve: ● Awareness- Tell a story and bring awareness to the issue of women’s rights ● Organization- plan and execute rallies, meet-ups and protests to bring women and allies together and bring attention to the issue ● Inclusion- send a message of equality and equity for all women ● Support- gain support financially and socially from organizations and businesses who donate or sponsor events

Create Facebook, Google Site, linkedin, youtube, Instagram and Twitter accounts to secure branding 2. Plan a local meetup or facebook event centered around a women’s equality discussion group 3. Make daily posts expressing the mission and motive of the group and highlight local women and their stories 4. Use ideas and connections made from this meetup and social media to plan a women’s rights rally 5. Make a gofundme and eventbrite site to raise money for this rally and the organization backing it 6. Use linkedin to each out to organizations and businesses to obtain sponsors and donations 7. Be sure to take video and photos from this rally and post on youtube, facebook and instagram 8. Use these connections, rallies and funding to support legislation centered around equality for women!

It is everyone's responsibility." - Ban Ki-Moon ● Any and all individuals who support equality for women may join and participate in this organization’s social media, meetups and events ● Allies are important for this movement to succeed and support the idea and mission of inclusion and equality
