Digital capability survey 3 highlights of the results

The purpose of the Digital Capability Survey was to raise discussion and widen thinking among the leaders about the possibilities and threats of digitalization as well as, to help companies in the early phase of digitalization to take the first concrete steps towards a more digital company.
Focus groups were chairman and members of the board of directors and CEOs regardless the industry.

Some challenges with the follow up of strategy execution 52% says that it is somewhat or very unlikely that due to the digital disruption, a competitor can emerge from outside of our field of industry 70% digitalization has been taken into account in our company’s vision and strategy or we have a separate digitalization strategy, however 42 % don’t have KPIs and targets related to digitalization in the following areas 66% at least one person has digital competence and knowledge in our board of directors 33 % digitalization has changed the work of board of directors, its composition, competence needs, etc. 57% don’t have a nominated person responsible for digitalization © Digital Capability Survey, eira.vatanen@gmail.com, @eiravatanen 2.
