Presentation given by Ellen Helsper (from the LSE) at the 9th Social Digital Research Symposium (SDRS) held on 22 October at the Centre for Creative Collaboration. Based on work for the European Commission and the from Digital skills to Tangible Outcomes project. The SDRS are held every 6 months and were set up through a collaboration between the London School of Economics and Political Science and the UK Online Centres - now the Tinder Foundation.

Information Navigation All the different website layouts make working with the Internet difficult for me I find it hard to find a website I visited before I find the way in which many websites are designed confusing I find it hard to decide what the best keywords are to use for online searches Sometimes I end up on websites without knowing how I got there I get tired when looking for information online I should take a course on finding information online Sometimes I find it hard to verify information I have retrieved
