Anonymous Discussions - Overview
• Anonymous Discussions is a show aimed at 16–25-year-olds, where I discuss
various topics. These topics can range from stories, opinions and discussions
about what's going on in the world.
• The show will have that modern day YouTube commentary format, to be suitable
for my target audience. A lot of young people watch YouTube and are massive
fans of this style of content. We can also cut up segments from the show and post
them to TikTok. This will be a great way to expand our brand. Short form content
is the way to go these days, and I want this show to capitalise on that.
• I aim to use character stills to express my characters emotions, however I would
be open to animation. This show will discuss topics in a humorous and digestible
way.
• My Inspirations for this show are The Russell Howard Hour, Luna (YouTube) and
Drama Alert (YouTube). I want this show to air on BBC Three, because BBC Three
wants to expand into the digital world and target their content at young people.
How Will This Show Comply With The BBC?
• The BBC's three main principles are Inform, Educate and Entertain, and my
show will do just that. By discussing topics, I will be informing my viewers
about what's currently going on, as well as educating them about the
subject. My humorous takes and colourful character stills will help
Entertain the audience.
• I also understand that The BBC is a politically neutral place, so my show will
not side with any political party. If politics are ever discussed, we will take
an informative stand on the matter and not unfairly criticize a party solely
because we don't agree with their views.
• This show will have to air after 9pm, because there may be some strong
language, mature topics and adult humor. I would be willing to make the
show more family friendly, if that suits the BBC better.
My current selection of character stills
Here is my current selection of character stills, they were drawn by talented young artist GreedyisDrawing (They were
drawn for me, so I now own them). The character name is Archer, a friendly eye-catching dog. I think a dog will be a good
choice of mascot because Dogs are very popular and make good mascots (For example Hacker from CBBC). Brian from
Family Guy is another example, if you want to talk about more adult themed content.
I have various facial expressions for Archer, this helps to show the characters emotions and I also hope they will catch the
audience's eye. These are just the prototypes, so we could change and evolve the stills.

Topic Ideas
The Show will look at what's
happening online, such as
influencer drama, viral videos
and popular topics.
The show will also cover major
sporting events and topics,
such as the World Cup ext. We
will dive into memes and viral
moments from the event.
I also want my show to contain
some funny stories and
experiences, whether it be
from me or someone else.
The Logo For My Show
So, here is the logo for my show. This design can be changed and
developed overtime. I have chosen big bold bubble writing, because
I think it really stands out and sets the mood nicely. I have also
chosen to include Archer because he is the main mascot for the
show. This logo is not misleading in anyway.
I have deliberately not chosen colours such as red, yellow and
illuminous green because I want to make my logo accessible for
colour blind people. I believe this logo stands out and has that
youthful internet culture vibe. This show is aimed at a younger
audience, so this design really works.
I have also chosen to put the BBC Three logo in the top left corner,
so everyone knows what channel the show is on.
