Another thing that is very attractive to employers would be that you have a passion for the job role you are trying out for this shows a height of commitment. 1.2 : Identify the qualities you already have that are attractive to potential employers I believe that some of the mindset qualities that are attractive to employers are that I am always very committed to a task and I will manage to finish said task with minimal fuss. I believe I am also a very passionate person who enjoys anything I can do which makes any task a completable one. 1.3 : Outline why honesty, commitment, flexibility and accountability are key qualities to employers Honesty is a key component to employability as it shows sense of responsibility which shows you are a very trusting person in the workplace. Commitment is a key component as employers need to always be assured that the person will always commit to the tasks they are doing at that moment without dropping them no matter how big or small it may be. Flexibility is a key quality as they need to know you can be readily available whenever they may need you this shows passion and drive to go out and succeed. Accountability ties in with honesty, they come hand in hand if you are honest and accountable for your own actions this shows the employer that you are trusting and honest. 1.4 : Give examples of when you have been honest, committed, flexible and accountable An example of a time I have been honest is when I signed up for work placement then later realized I no longer wanted to do it and told members of staff. Examples of times I have shown commitment is when I went on a school trip and I managed to take part in all of the activities and successfully completed them over the course of the 2 weeks. A time that I have been flexible is when I go to work and I am flexible with the hours I work such as holidays. A time I was accountable was when I held a bake sale in school for a charity and I had to control all of the stalls and make sur everything ran smoothly.
  4. 4 1.5 : Outline how mindset qualities could affect your employability Mindset quality’s could affect your employability in many ways such as you not even getting past the interview stage if they see you lack these skills and another person exceeds in them they will give the job to that person however, if you manage to get past the interview and start showing a lack of these skills you may be asked to leave whichever job role you are employed in. 1.6 : Identify actions to improve your own mindset qualities Actions I could put in place to improve my mindset qualities would be turning up to college when I should be there and making sure I am always on time and present.
