Photo-shoot 1
Casting Macy Dear will be my model for the images, as she is the same
age as my target audience. Therefore, this will help my
magazine appeal to them.
Date Photo-shoot 1 will take place on Sunday 26th October 2014.
Location The photos will be taken at my house, against a black or white
backdrop.
Shot-types The images will be taken as either close-ups or mid-shots,
depending on what looks the most effective. I may choose to
use another shot type during the photo-shoot, so that I have a
wide range of images to choose from.
Angles The images will be taken from an eye-level angle, as it will look
like the model is looking straight at the readers. This will make
the image look very eye-catching and draw in attention.
Body Language For my main image I want it to represent femininity, therefore
the model’s body language will be very feminine and girly.
Mise-en-scene I will use all elements of Mise-en-scene within my images. For
example the costume will consist of a pink dress with a black
jacket and lots of jewellery, however so that my magazine is
easily conveyed as a music magazine and not a fashion
magazine, I will use a guitar with flowers on as a prop.
Photo-shoot 1
Personnel Ellis Dear (Me). I will be taking all my media photos by myself.
Equipment The equipment I will use will be a camera, a black or white back
drop and props for my model to hold. For example, the guitar
with flowers.
Photo-shoot 2
Casting The same as photo-shoot 1, Macy Dear will be my model for the
images, as she is the same age as my target audience.
Therefore, this will help my magazine appeal to them.
Date Photo-shoot 2 will take place on Monday 27th October 2014.
Location The same as photo-shoot 1, the photo-shoot 2 photos will be
taken at my house, against a black or white backdrop.
Shot-types The shot-types for photo-shoot 2 will be mainly long-shots, so
that all of the musicians outfit will be clearly shown. I will also
use long-shots, as I would have already of used many close-ups
in photo-shoot 1, so long-shots will give me a strong contrast of
different shot-types and images.
Angles I will use a low angle to take my images of the musician, so that
the camera will be looking up at them, which will make them
appear very influential and powerful to look at.
Body Language The body language will be very striking and dominant, so that
the model looks very eye-catching to readers.
Photo-shoot 2
Mise-en-scene Just like photo-shoot 1, I will use all elements of Mise-en-scene
within my images. For example the costume will consist of black
leather trousers, a white top with lots of silver jewellery.
However, so that my magazine is yet again easily conveyed as a
music magazine and not a fashion magazine, the model will be
holding a microphone with a microphone stand.
Personnel Ellis Dear (Me). I will be taking all my media photos by myself.
Equipment The equipment I will use will be a camera, a black or white back
drop and props for my model to hold. For example, the
microphone and microphone stand.
