VTT is incorporating total security as part of its new strategy through 2030. VTT identified several "lighthouses" or future growth opportunities for Finland, including safety and security. Under safety and security, VTT sees opportunities in areas like securing critical supplies, cyber security, securing resource flows in connected ecosystems, global water resilience, seamless security, secure communication networks, critical infrastructure protection, autonomous transport hubs, safe autonomous operations, and controlled autonomy. VTT believes focusing on these lighthouses can help guide its strategy and implementation through 2030.
