print ads for the leading smartphone companies, with most
companies running zero ads. Motorola is the leader in
technology advertisements in women s magazines, targeting
59% women and reaching women at an average age of 42.

In 2013, smartphones serve as portable, electronic
containers of our lives. We connect to all levels of our lives
through our smartphones, therefore what we have on our
phones is a poignant indicator of who we are.
Motorola takes this idea to the next level with the the Moto X. It
is a revolution in smartphone design; the phone boasts an array
of cutting-edge features, but what most separates it from other
phones in the market is its customization. Buyers are able to
create their own phones by picking out colors, patterns, and
details when they order. The Moto X represents the sense of
individuality that young people wish to convey in their material
possessions, which is what makes the Moto X the perfect
phone for the Seventeen girl.
At Seventeen, we are obsessed with the newest technologies and
stay up-to-date on the best ways to communicate with our readers
on all formats. In the November 2013 issue, there are 17 different
calls-to-social media alone.

Contest Details include:
•  One (1) lucky winner will be receive a new Motorola Moto X phone
courtesy of Motorola customized to their liking.
•  Two-runners up will be given Seventeen Nail Art Kits.
•  Motorola may promote the contest video on their website and social
media pages as well

Seventeen readers are all about working hard to get what
they want. To tap into our readers desire for information on
how to get ahead in the professional world as well as
Motorola s brand focus on individuality and creativity, we
would hold a Be Your Own Brand workshop as part of
Internships 101 2014 presented by Motorola.
Workshop Details include:
•  Workshop on Personal Branding and how to create your image
in the professional world.
•  Discussion of what personal branding means and why it is
essential.
•  Focus on social media presence and how to cultivate a good
online image.
To show of the Moto X s incredible photo capabilities and
social media features, the Moto X would be the camera at the
Internships 101 Photo Booth.
•  Participants could use the phone to take pictures of themselves
at the event at the photo booth.
•  Phone would also be used as a social media station, where
participants could post their photos online to promote the event.
