2. What is A Psychopath?
• Emotional
Predators
• Work Against
Society
• Abnormal
Behaviors
• Characteristics:
Lack of empathy,
Lack of Remorse
and the use of
Aggression towards
others.
3. Why It Matters?
• Our society is ran
by insane people
for insane
objectives. I think
we are being run by
maniacs for
maniacal fantasies
and desires. The
message I hope to
send is to “NEVER
JUDGE A BOOK
BY ITS COVER”
4. Empirical Findings/Childhood
• Convicted criminals
reported high scores on
the psychopathy
checklist experienced
abuse and neglect.
Craparo, Schimmenti,
& Caretti, (2013).
5. Empirical Findings/Adolescence
• Adolescents who
have reported any
form of childhood
trauma displayed
high levels of
aggression towards
their peers. Czar,
Dahlen, Bullock, &
Nicholson, (2011).
6. Empirical Findings/Adulthood
• Gender was not a
determining factor
in predicting the
severity level of
torture and sexual
assault inflicted
upon victims of
psychopaths.
Gudjonsson,
Sigurdsson,
Skaptadottir, &
Helgadottir, (2011).
7. Research Question
What events, experiences, or chaotic environments are associated with the
causes and effects of the bad seed planted in psychopathic serial killers?
8. Hypothesis
I predicted that Killers in LA County who have displayed psychopathic personality
traits have been influenced by bad parenting and exposed to chaotic environments
during their childhood emerging into adolescence and growing into adulthood.

20. Contrast
• Randy Kraft
• Organized Killer
• Thrill Seeker
• No Upbringing Issues
• Successful Computer
Programmer
• High IQ
21. Findings
Hypothesis was partially
supported
• Randy Kraft did not have
any childhood or
adolescence chaotic
environments or traumatic
experiences leading to his
psychopathy.
• This case study can be
useful because it could
help Law Enforcement
have an easier method to
identifying psychopathic
killers specific to the los
Angeles County
22. Why Does It Matter?
• Not all psychopathic
killers will develop in the
same way and over a
period of time.
• They can be triggered at
anytime to act out on
psychopathic fantasies at
any time in their life.
23. Limitations
• Small sample size.
• Not being able to meet with these individuals in order to get their
version of why they became brutal psychopathic killers.
24. Adding to Future Research
• Highlighting the parallels and contrasts found in this
study.
• Look at all Characteristics of an Individual before placing
judgment.
• Create Killing Cycles
