35. Overall situation of our farmers
• Our farmers make excellent job :
• Technical transformation of their agro ecosystems
• Dissemination to their colleagues
• We are too slow, limited by :
• Scientists, politicians, NGO’s, finance, consultants,
all give us lessons about how to do our job perfectly
• Adverse regulations (pesticides, fertilizers, genetic.)
• Science is now replaced by opinion of the crowd
• Unbalanced / unfair dialog
• Lack of resources (human, budget)
36. Our expectations from GSP/UN/FAO
• A balanced dialog with farmers as key makers of agriculture
• Integrate our farmers as full members in your operations
at all levels, from conception to realization
• Use our expertise in :
• making new agriculture real,
• teaching our colleagues
• Define decision processes for public policies in which
science and know-how of makers count over opinions /
marketing / finance / ideologies
• Allocate a budget for farmers participation (travel costs)
37. Practically

• Meeting of the Boards/Secretariats
