January 2007 eYeka launches its first public beta for amateur filmmakers & photographers. January 2008 The first brand contest is launched for insurance company MACIF. February 2008 eYeka’s community members reached 10,000. 10,000 community members March 2008 eYeka opens its first international office in Singapore. June 2008 Emporio Armani Fragrance Advertising contest is launched. November 2010 Coca-Cola asks for “Energizing Refreshment” ideas and promises Cannes Lions application. December 2010 100,000 community members eYeka reaches the milestones of 100,000 community members and 100 brand clients. September 2011 Forrester positions eYeka “atop of the leaderboard” in report about co-creation. December 2011 Japanese agency ADK and eYeka sign the world’s first strategic partnership of its kind. May 2012 eYeka’s 200,000th community member is a part-time filmmaker from the UK. September 2012 Unilever forms a strategic alliance with eYeka in order to increase co-creation usage. July 2013 Fast CoExist features radically new, community- created ideas about the future of laundry. eYeka and Unilever crowdsource ideas to make showers across the globe more sustainable. August 2013 February 2014 Hyundai launches the world’s first global print campaign inspired by a consumer’s creative idea. October 2014 eYeka launches its mobile companion app to browse and join contests on the go. January 2015 300,000 community members eYeka has 300,000 community members from 164 countries. March 2015 eYeka introduces a light, fast and affordable crowdsourcing format called “eYeka Express”. April 2015 NESCAFÉ reveals high-quality, consumer- created #ItAllStarts videos June 2015 eYeka invites two creators on stage for Cannes Lions. As eYeka turns 10, the 100,000th idea is submitted. February 2016 200,000 community members €6,000,000 awarded in prizes 100,000 ideas submitted in over 900 projects 330,000 creators from 167 countries More than More than More than May 2014 Oral-B launches the first connected toothbrush and app, inspired by eYeka’s community. #eYeka10 April 2015 The first report to provide data about agencies/ brands’ usage of crowdsourcing is released. November 2015 P&G shares how 1,000+ community ideas have helped SK-II appeal to young consumers
