1. Social Behavior: Interacting With Others
Introduction To Social Behavior:
In short behavior is what you react in different situation in your daily life is called behavior. And social behavior is
something big then behavior which is the reaction of a person in a social group. Social behavior is followed by
social actions, which is directed at other people and is designed to induce a response.
For example:
A Person has an angry personality (This is called behavior)
And that person becomes jolly (this is called Social behavior)
It is now time to define social interaction. As previously discussed, behavior comes in many forms--blinking, eating,
reading, dancing, shooting, rioting, and warring. What then distinguishes social behavior? Behavior that is peculiarly social
is oriented towards other selves. It could be gestures, eye contact or anything. Social behavior is what you react or behave
when so many different people around you. Human behavior is experienced throughout an individual’s entire lifetime.
Followings are the ways to interact with people:
social network
connection with groups ,families, friends etc
People with a social network of emotionally supportive friends, family, and neighbors
An Introvert And Extrovert Person’s Social Behavior:
An introvert person is that person who does not interact a lot with people. And extrovert is that person who has lots of
people interacting with him. But an introvert can have the good and better behavior then an extrovert person. Or
sometimes an extrovert can have the good and better behavior than introvert. It depends on the situation he faced or
facing in his or her background.
For Example: A person is an introvert but his family is friendly to him and they live happily and enjoy each and every part
of their live when this person interacts with any person he surely a best behavior of interacting them.
And if an extrovert person facing family problems so he would be not good a behaving with people.
Social behavior does not depend on which personality you have it depends on what situation you facing and your behavior
allows others to judge your personality.

A series of social relationships that link an individual to others.
Group by group:
2. A group is a set of elements together with an operation that combines any two of its elements to form a third element
also in the set while satisfying four conditions called the group Groups share a fundamental kinship with the notion
Group behavior:
Group behavior refers to the situations where people interact in large or small groups. Groups of a large number of
people in a given area may act simultaneously to achieve a goal that differs from what individuals would do acting alone. A
large group (a crowd or mob) is likely to show examples of group behavior when people gathered in a given place and
time act in a similar way—for example, joining a protest or march, participating in a fight or acting patriotically.
Why do people join groups:
* Companionship – groups provide members to simply be in the company of other people.
* Survival and security – From a historic or evolutionary perspective our ancestors would partake in group
experiences for hunting and defence.
* Affiliation and status – membership into various groups can provide individuals with certain socials status' or
security.
* Power and control– with group membership comes the opportunity for leadership Roles; individuals who feel
they need to exert their power and opinions over others can have such experiences within group settings.
* Achievement – groups have the capability to achieve more than individuals acting alone.
Importance of group behavior in our society:
As we know is going on in city. We really need cooperation with each other. Everyday people are killed without any
reason. We can see that how our people protest in city on any issue. They come on roads in the shape of group but they
don’t how to protest. They destroy their own people’s shops, cars etc.
Social norms:
Social norms are created and set by our family background. Which we have to follow and we cannot deny the fact that we
are not following any norm.
For Example:
If a boy from a European country and a boy from eastern country have different social behavior because the people at
European side is kind of rational and the people at eastern side is sentimental. So indirectly, this thing has a big impact on
behavior which allows a person to behave when he is in the process of socialization.
