JOINT
PERSENTED BY- ANAS KHAN

IN GUIDENCE – DR. RAHHEEM (SIR)
2. ELBOW JOINT
• The elbow joint is the complex hinge joint is form between the
distal end of humerus in the upper arm and proximal end of
ulna and radius in the forearm.
• The elbow allow for the flexion and extension of the forearm
relative to upper arm, as well as rotation of the forearm and
wrist
3. POSTERIOR ELBOW PAIN
• Posterior elbow pain is pain at the back of the elbow and can
be acute, meaning sudden onset or can come on gradually
over time.
• A chronic elbow injury may occur following an acuteinjury
which was not treated properly or has failed to heal..
6. OLECRANON BURSITIS
• It is the inflammation and swelling of the bursa which protect
the end of the ulna bone at the back of the elbow
SIGN & SYMPTOMS
• Pain
• Swelling over the olecranon process
• Decreased elbow ROM
• Tenderness
7. POSTERIOR ELBOW IMPINGEMENT
• Repetitive posterior abutment of bone and soft tissue in the
posterior compartment of elbow
• Repetitive elbow extension
SIGN & SYMPTOMS
• Pain in the posterior elbow
• Increase bony abutment
• UCL deficiency may be persent
8. OLECRANON FRACTURE(#)
• The olecranon process of the large bony prominence at the
back of the elbow on the ulna forearm bone it usually # from
a direct impact or onto a bent elbow
SIGN & SYMPTOMS
• Pain
• Swelling at posterior elbow
• Tenderness
• Redness
9. TRICEPS TENDINOSIS
• It is a condition characterized by tissue damage to the triceps
tendon causing pain in the back of the elbow
SIGN & SYMPTOMS
• Pain
• Tenderness
• Restricted elbow extension
11. TRICEPS MUSCLE WASTING
• In this triceps muscle atrophy there is a weakness of triceps
muscle which cause posterior elbow pain and restricted
mobility of elbow joint
SIGN & SYMPTOMS
• Pain at the posterior elbow
• Restricted mobility
