Challenged
Teenage Alcoholic Used, as it is one of the main focuses of
today’s society and is something that
appeals to a certain audience
AlcoholAbuse Reinforced, as it is the main focus of the
opening sequence
DomesticAbuse Challenged, as it may have been used as
an enigma to show why the main
character has pushed themselves to go
onto such a state
The teenager is a female victim Used, as our main character is a female
and it meets with the common
stereotypes
Age 15-18
Gender Females
Race/Ethnicity White, Black etc
Location Northern England
SocialClass Middle/Working
Interests/Hobbies Party person, girls who are into hair and

 Our particular target audience would be interested
in our opening sequence as it is something that
everyone and anyone can relate to.
 Its also based on a realistic situation, so people may
understand the circumstances and how it effects
the main character.
 Also, it has a range of conventions throughout and it
help the audience to understand it better and reach
out towards them.
•Adulthood
• Kidulthood
• Elephant
• Paranoid Park
•These films are very similar to our
chosen opening sequence as it is the
same genre. Also the fact that in each of
these films they try to concentrate on
one particular character and how their
current situations and the
circumstances can affect them.We try
to inherit such a style in which people
will be able to reach out and connect
with it.
Location:Wembley Park Station
In this location we decided to do the
scenes where the main character is
sitting down just finishing off a drink
We decided to place the

carried out the Bus scene as to where
the character has to get on.

 How does it connect to the representation?
 The costume and props that we used, connect to
the representation of this character, as the
clothing style emphasizes the fact the she’s not
really bothered about our current appearance.
 Also its more explicit to the audience, why she is
dressing like that and connotes with the way she
acts as well

 How does it connect to the representation?
 The costume and props connect to the
representation of this character as she is
supposed to be the main characters flashback
