Scorpion Report
_________________________________________________________________
Scorpions are carnivores that they will eat so many different types  insects  and those
insects are different types of spiders and they will also eat other different types of
scorpions to. The other food  that they will eat is the  food that is in a very big desert
dwelling.  Scorpions also eat very small lizards to. They will eat different types of insects
but the scorpion has a total variable diet that is often the skill for these animals survival is in
their natural habitat . The Scorpion can easily kill their prey by using their stinger which is
located  on the back of their tail. The animals that these creatures that they will normally see
as prey is in different types of  insects and they will also eat  very small rodents to . There
are some species of Scorpion can easily kill a person with  their  stinger to and that also
means the Arizona bark scorpion to. will also kill a person to. There are some species that
can go for  a year without any food in them and that is very a long time .  Scorpions will use
so many different types of ways on how they can get a meal  and the animals that they will
normally go after are insects, spiders and they can also go  after a very small mouse and a
lizard to. There are so many species that they will usually wait  in a  burrow  by using a
pincer open and then they will use their very sharp stinger to help them to  raise up into air
and it will continue to do that until a prey walks by. There are some species  that  will rather
stalk their prey and there  are others that will like to  dig up an pitfall that will  be located in
the sand that will be waiting for their prey to walk  into so that they can catch it and so that
they can eat it too. Once the prey has been  catched  it. Then the scorpion will start to grab
it with their open pincer  and then that will be the time when they start to crushed  their prey
into pieces . There are a lot of scorpions that  have poison in them that is in their stingers
but they will only use their poison stinger in only  if they need   to get the poison out . Then
they will have to use a whole lot of body energy so that they can release  the poison. The
scorpions that are very young and that are very small they will  mostly use their stinger more
often than the adults do.  Scorpions have very small mouths . They will use their  very small
little mouths so that they can get the liquid so that they can catch their prey  so they can
mash it up.
____________________________________________________________________
Scorpions are usually  found on every single continent in the world but they do  not live on
Antarctica. Most of these creatures will mostly be found in the southern part the earth and
that is where they live in the desert areas and they can also live in  different types  of jungles
to.The type of habitats that these creatures can be found is on different types of deserts,
rainforests, prairies, grasslands, forests, mountains, caves, ponds and they can also be
found on the seashore to. The other habitats that they can be found  is in tropical
rainforests, tropical monsoon forests, temperate forests, deserts and  very tall different
types of places where scorpions can be found on the semi desert savanna, grasslands and
they can also be found in urban areas to. The  other types of places where these animals
can be seen is in desert dwellers, they can also live on Brazilian forests,  British columbia,
North Carolina and they can also live on the Himalayas to. Scorpions can be found all over
the world but they do not live in  Antarctica.  That means they do not live in places that have
very cold climates. There are so many different types  places that have been taken over by
people. Scorpions live on every single place on earth and that means that they can be
found on every single habitat to. Those habitats are deserts, rainforests, grasslands and
they can also be found in caves to. The other  places where these  arachnids can be found
is in a burrow that can be made out of soil, sand and they can also be made out of rocks to.
This makes this really hard for   predators  that live with them this makes the predator really
hard  to spotted their prey  and that is a way for the scorpion to know what is  coming their
way. These  bugs have a very special adaptability that will let them to thrive in so many
different types of places . Some people believe that they were ended up in a cargo and
then their population  will start to grow  in very long destinations. There are a lot of
scorpions that can be found under the ground and there are also found in trees to. These
Arachnids also love to hide in the sand and they also love to hide under rocks  to. These
arachnids  are totally sensitive when they come close to any forms of light . *So that means
that these  arachnids will have to find a really good place so that they can hide when it gets
really light out during the day time . They will usually live in areas that  have these types of
temperatures will normally reach about 67 degrees and to 98 degrees fahrenheit . There
are some species of Scorpion that will normally be found in places that have very strong
climates. There are some that can live in areas that can be very cold and there are others
that can be found in places that can found   very hot  habitat like in a desert native area.
____________________________________________________________________
A Scorpion can be bigger than 2.5 in (6 cm) this is how big  they are and they can weigh
about 8.3 in (21 cm). The scorpion that has the longest body length is the flat rock scorpion
and their length is 8.2 inches (21 centimeters) long. The most smallest Scorpion is the
Middle Eastern Scorpion and their length is about 0.25 inches (6.5 millimeters ). The most
heaviest  Scorpion in the world is the  emperor scorpion and they can weigh about 2
ounces (60 grams). The size of these  arachnids  are really f1/2 inch and they can also be
bigger than 7 1/4 inches. The biggest species of Scorpions will normally be bigger than 9.8
inches (25 centimeters) long and the  ones that are known to be very small can grow about
1.2 inches (3 centimeters). This is how big and small that these arachnids can be.
____________________________________________________________________
These arachnids can live about three to eight years . To activity know how long a Scorpion
will normally live for it really depends on the type of species . But the most  common
lifespan for these arachnids  are really 5 to 15 years.When these  arachnids are in the wild
than they can live for 2  to 10 years and the scorpions that live in captivity they can live
about 25 years. These arachnids can also live about  3 to 8 years  as well.
____________________________________________________________________
The Scorpion can reproduce very differently  than other animals that are in  this animal
group . A female scorpion will start to give birth in 2  or 8 months  after  they are done with
the mating process but it really depends on what type of scorpion it is . There are some
species that look alot like their parents  except for the part that they  have a more lighter
color on them and the adults will usually are very black . The females will normally give to
birth to live young they usually give birth in litters they can have as  many as 4 baby
scorpions they can also sometimes  also give birth to 8  or 9 baby scorpions  and that will
be  a full litter of baby scorpions . When the babies are first born then they will be able to
walk in very far places that is in their habitat . So they will have to travel on their mothers
back in order for them to travel . They normally do that right after the babies are  born.  The
mother will continue to look after the babies until they are old enough to take care of
themselves .  The  other difference between the babies and the adults is that the youngers
do not have any pedipalps and they do not have the ability to sting either .The babies will
continue to climb on the mother's back until seven days and then that will be the time when
they  will start  to molt . That means that their skin will start to come off. There are  some
offspring that will usually  stay with  their mother for a very long time but it really depends on
that type of species through . The mother will not be able to feed them but she will continue
to carry the babies   on her back through so that the mother can protect them when she
goes  out to hunt and so that they can protect themselves to. This is a very hard time for a
very  little baby scorpion  the reason why it is so hard for them because the mother is really
hungry and there are times where she will not know who her babies are  and then she will
get very hungry and  then she will start to eat them. this usually happens right after the
babies are done with the molting . When they are old enough then they will start to find a
territory all of their own. The scorpion babies will reach maturity right after they are done
with the sixth molting process. The Gestation period for a baby Scorpion is seven months
in a year. But it really depends on what type of environment that it lives in. A  Scorpion  can
have the total of 1 to 95 babies that can be over seven weeks but it really depends on that
type of species .The Scorpion will start to reach maturity when they are about 6 months in a
year but it really depends  on the species it is .
____________________________________________________________________
Every single scorpion in the world are all poisonous . There are some species that   will
usually use their poison to attack their prey . There are some species that will activity use
more poison  on any other animal that they find. with all the scorpion species in the world
there has  been about 25 different people that have been killed by a scorpion. A person
should never play with a scorpion because they are totally dangerous  if a  person ever got
too close to them. If you do see one please let someone  know that there is a scorpion in
the area .Research has shown that every scorpion in the world are known to be  filled with
poison   and there are about 45 different type of toxin that is venom that can be found in
these creatures . But there toxin does come in handy for when they are trying to kill an
insect and they will also use their poison  on other creatures to and those animals  happen
to be crustaceans and there are some species that are vertebrates to. The scorpion does
not just use their poison to catch their prey. They will also use their poison to protect
themselves from other animals that want to eat . They  type of predators that the scorpion
has to look out for is centipedes, shrews, owls, bats, hornbills and coyotes. These are not
just the only animals that can easily kill a scorpion. The other animals that will also kill them
will be a meerkat and the hedgehog these are the only animals that do not take their
poison  as a threat to them . Every scorpion in the world are all known to be venom that
means that these  arachnids are very poisonous. But there are only about thousands of
species  of scorpions that live on this planet but there are about 50% of the scorpion
population that are known to be real threat to humans and there are only two of them that
have been found in some places that are in the United States. Scorpions can be very
dangerous to kill anything that also means that they can  also  kill a very small insect and
they can also kill a spider to but there are more painful to humans than any other creatures
that they face  in their natural habitat. They are only allowed to take a few of them out of
their natural habitat. A scorpion's sting is just like an hornet’s sting. But there are only a few
of strings that are known to be fatal and they  can also cause a really bad allergic reaction
this is what will sometimes will happen when  a scorpion gets too close to a human. But
there is one person that can curse a really bad scorpion sting and that person is an
physician. These people will make sure that a person  will be completely safe from this very
bad sting.There are about 1.200 species of scorpion all over the world but there are only
about 30 to 40 different species that are known to be to have a very powerful poison that
can easily kill a human being if they ever come in contact with these animals. Every single
species of scorpion has their own different type of venom that works very well when they
are getting close to their prey. The scorpion is not a bug it is an type of animal that is called
an Arachnids.
_____________________________________________________________________
There are some species that are more rare than the other  species of scorpions but in
reality these arachnids  are known not to be endangered. That means that their population
is not in trouble  for becoming extinct. There are only a few species of scorpion like the
emperor scorpion, are starting to be protected so that collectors will not take to many of
them out of their natural habitat. They are only allowed to take a few of them   out of their
natural habitat. We must do something to help these amazing animals. These arachnids
need all the help that they can get. Scorpions have the right to continue living on this planet.
They are doing their part in nature  and we should find a place in a nature to. This is a really
big planet that is filled with wonders and discoveries that are waiting to be found. We have
to do make this planet a safe  place for us and for the other creatures that we share this
planet with . This is  our beautiful  home and it deserves to have  a second chance to live on
for the next generation to come on this planet. There is a big, bright and beautiful future if
we find a way to protect our planet than our world and our  home will be a much happier
and a much cleaner place to live in . We have to make room for other living creatures to.
God made animals for a reason just like he made us. That is what I know about scorpions.
If we all work together we can save the scorpion and the other animals that live on this
planet to. together we can make a difference in this beautiful planet that we all share.
