Mercantil de Sao Paulo Bank – Bank Segment (Sao Paulo / Brazil) Period: January, 2001 –May, 2003 Area: Technology System Principal IT Manager. Main activities leading: • IT solution driven to service areas of Agency Acquisition, Investment Fund, Insurance, Foreign Exchange, Treasury, Corporate and Managerial Information (Risk Management); • IT solution implementation from Front to Back Office of Foreign Exchange, Import and Export products, which resulted in savings of 20% yearly, through 100% of automation processes in Capture and Integration with Operational Systems and Federal Reserve Bank; • IT Solution Implementation from Front to BackOffice of Open Market, Fixed Income and Derivatives products, which resulted in savings of 30% yearly, through 100% process automation of Capture and Operation (Accounting, Finance Liquidity, Operational Flows and others); • Responsible for an IT team of 30 people for business analysis, system development and IT infrastructure; • Responsible for the budget performance of Investment in Technology (Infrastructure and Applications) about US$20 million yearly. 2

Main activities leading: • Responsible for IT solutions for the areas of: Capital markets Business (Treasury e Asset Management), operational support (Back Office, Institutional) and management (Treasury Finance, Market Risk Management); • Responsible for planning and implementation of the Technology Strategic Planning at BankBoston/México/Argentina, highlighting TAS system (Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and Variable Income), which consists in supporting the business of Treasury in México and Argentina, savings accounts for 30% yearly; • Responsible for Dataware House Capital Markets implementation, which provided support to the decision making for bank resources finance management, allowing leverage the information quality and market share.
