AI: FUTURE OF
ENTERPRISES AND JOBS
In conclusion, the
impact of AI on
businesses and jobs is
far-reaching, with its
potential extending
across industries and
into our everyday lives.
As AI continues to
develop, we can expect to
see further enhancements
in efficiency, safety, and
decision-making,
transforming the way we
interact with the world
and redefining the future
of enterprises and jobs
orArtificialIntelligencemayhave
a simple guiding principle: think
simple. Yet, the impact of AI on
businesses, industries, and jobs is
anything but straightforward.
Rapid advancements in AI tech-
nology have given rise to machine
learning, computer perception,
and reasoning capabilities that
are fundamentally transforming
the way we interact with technol-
ogy and the world around us.
At the heart of AI lies the abil-
ity to process and analyze vast
amounts of data quickly and ac-
curately
,makingitanindispensa-
ble tool across a range of indus-
tries,fromhealthcareandfinance
to transportation and manufac-
turing. AI-driven robots are per-
forming surgeries and driving
cars, while AI-powered algo-
rithms are predicting stock mar-
ket trends and optimizing busi-
nessoperations.Furthermore,AI
isidentifyingpatternsinmassive
datasets, empowering companies
to make well-informed decisions.
A simple utility of AI for writing
emails and replies to emails will
have large impact on jobs and
many businesses. Softwares like
Xgenplus have already added ca-
pabilities to compose emails and
replies and use can simply copy
paste and send them.
Government of India has
started using artificial religions
in their project called Bhashini
where speech to text and text to
speech for all in the languages is
being practiced and available via
APIs. This is revolutionary in
many ways.
Artificial intelligence (AI) has
had a profound impact on busi-
nesses across various industries.
This technology has been instru-
mental in shaping the way organ-
izationsfunction,makedecisions,
and interact with customers.
Here are some key ways AI
has impacted the business
landscape
AUTOMATION
AI-powered systems can per-
form repetitive and time-con-
suming tasks more efficiently,
leading to cost savings and in-
creased productivity. This in-
cludes everything from simple
data entry to more complex func-
tions like customer service, mar-
keting, and supply chain man-
agement.
DATA ANALYSIS AND
DECISION MAKING
AI can analyze large datasets
quickly and accurately, enabling
businesses to make more in-
formed decisions. This helps or-
ganizations identify trends,
make predictions, and optimize
operations, leading to improved
efficiency and competitive ad-
vantage.
PERSONALIZATION
AI-driven algorithms can ana-
lyze user behavior, preferences,
and habits to provide personal-
ized experiences and recommen-
dations. This can help business-
es target marketing efforts more
effectively, leading to increased
customer engagement, loyalty,
and revenue.
IMPROVED
CUSTOMER SERVICE
AI chatbots and virtual assis-
tants can help businesses pro-
vide 24/7 support, handle cus-
tomer inquiries more effectively
,
and resolve issues faster. This
results in increased customer
satisfaction and retention rates.
HUMAN RESOURCE
MANAGEMENT
AI tools can streamline recruit-
ment, onboarding, and employee
evaluation processes. They can
identify top talent, analyze per-
formance data, and recommend
targeted training to help employ-
ees develop their skills.
INNOVATION
AI can foster innovation by ena-
bling businesses to explore new
markets, create new products
and services, and optimize exist-
ing ones. This can lead to growth
and increased market share.
ENHANCED SECURITY
AI-powered systems can detect
and prevent cybersecurity
threats and fraud more effective-
ly, helping businesses protect
their valuable data and intellec-
tual property
.
SUPPLY CHAIN
OPTIMIZATION
AI can improve forecasting, in-
ventory management, and de-
mand planning, helping busi-
nesses optimize their supply
chain and reduce costs.
As AI continues to advance
and its adoption increases, its
impact on businesses is likely to
become even more significant.
Businesses that invest in AI and
adapt to its capabilities will like-
ly have a competitive edge in the
evolving marketplace
The advent of AI and automa-
tion will lead to the transforma-
tion of the job market and the
disappearance of certain jobs.
While it is difficult to predict
precisely which jobs will be-
come extinct.
Following types of jobs are
likely to be affected due to
the AI advancements
DATA ENTRY AND DATA
PROCESSING
AI algorithms and robotic pro-
cess automation (RPA) are be-
coming increasingly efficient in
performing data entry tasks, re-
ducing the need for human inter-
vention in these roles.
REPETITIVE
MANUFACTURING JOBS
Automation and robotics have
already begun to replace many
assembly line and manufactur-
ing roles that involve repetitive
tasks, as machines can perform
these tasks with higher efficien-
cy and precision.
ROUTINE CUSTOMER
SERVICE
AI-powered chatbots and virtual
assistants can handle a wide
range of customer service in-
quiries, leading to a decline in
the need for human customer
service representatives, particu-
larly in roles that involve an-
swering common questions or
providing standard information.
RETAIL CASHIERS
Self-checkout kiosks and auto-
mated payment systems are in-
creasingly being implemented in
retail stores, reducing the de-
mand for human cashiers.
BOOKKEEPING AND
ACCOUNTING
AI-powered software can now
handlemanybookkeepingandac-
counting tasks, such as tax prepa-
ration, invoice processing, and fi-
nancial reporting, which could
impact accounts professional.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
NowAIenginewillwritethecode
on the text directions to create a
simple app or a website complete-
ly integrated with user valida-
tion and payment gateways
which means in few minutes and
mobile app could be ready

GRAPHIC DESIGNERS
AI tools have now empowered to
create an image out of the subject
given in the text such as give me a

ify them with further directions.
AI: SHAPING THE FUTURE
OF HUMANITY
AI is not only the driving force
behind emerging technologies
such as big data, robotics, and
the Internet of Things (IoT), but
it is also poised to continue lead-
ing technological innovation for
years to come. In everyday life,
AI simplifies our interactions
with technology through voice-
activated virtual assistants and
automated customer service
chatbots, streamlining our rou-
tines and enhancing overall ef-
ficiency
.
One example of AI’s potential
to revolutionize workplace safe-
ty and efficiency is the integra-
tion of machine learning and
computer vision in the detection
and classification of various
safety events. IFM, a company
specializing in AI-driven ware-
house safety devices, offers a
prime illustration of this. Their
shoebox-sized devices are
equipped with cameras that
monitor forklift operators’ ac-
tions, the speed of the vehicles,
the surrounding environment,
and other operators’ maneuvers.
By automatically detecting
safety violations and alerting
warehouse managers, IFM’s AI-
powered devices aim to prevent
accidents and improve overall
efficiency. In fact, the mere
awareness of these devices has
had a profound effect on work-
place behavior. According to
IFM’s CEO, the abundance of in-
formation captured by inexpen-
sive cameras, thanks to the wide-
spread use of smartphones, has
significantly benefited their AI
systems. As more customers
adopt these systems, the software
learns and improves, detecting
more relevant signals and con-
tributing to a safer and more ef-
ficient work environment.
AI also can have impact which
are uncontrollable and could be
dangerous in many ways. We
also need to exercise discipline
and policy control on its use to
avoid some impact which could
be dangerous for man kind.
In conclusion, the impact of
AI on businesses and jobs is far-
reaching, with its potential ex-
tending across industries and
into our everyday lives. As AI
continues to develop, we can ex-
pect to see further enhance-
ments in efficiency, safety, and
decision-making, transforming
the way we interact with the
world and redefining the future
of enterprises and jobs.

Jaipur: The Education
Department is, as of
now, completely at the
mercy of God. Five sen-
ior posts in the depart-
ment are currently ly-
ing vacant which in-
clude the chairs of Sec-
retary and four Deputy
Secretaries.
Head of the Depart-
ment, ACS Pawan Ku-
mar Goyal, retired on
January 30, yet the DoP
has not made any ap-
pointment on this ma-
jor post of such a major
department. The addi-
tional charge of this
post is on ACS Aparna
Arora of Revenue De-
partment.
There are a total of
four posts of Deputy
Secretaries in the de-
partment and it is sur-
prising that as on to-
day, all these posts are
lying vacant and the
responsibilities of five
senior officials is on a
single JS.
What is important to
note here is the fact that
while Aparna Arora
has the additional
charge of the depart-
ment, her hands are full
with the ‘full-time job’
of Revenue Depart-
ment. She is engrossed
in the marathon work
of constitution of new
districts and thus, she
does not have the time
to look into the works
related to Education De-
partment. She only
clears the routine files.
Without the Deputy
Secretaries, the num-
ber of files have
amassed in four offices.
On top of that, the rules
denote that only after
passing through deputy
minister Zahida Khan
will the files go to Min-
ister Bulakidas Kalla
and the handful of files
that are being passed,
that too are taking sev-
eral days to pass
through deputy minis-

pletely even Director

City First brings to you the captivating journey of Ananya
Tyagi, a prodigiously talented young woman, who ascended
to the dizzying heights of success, after being selected as a
finalist of the illustrious Miss Teen Diva 2022!
he beauty of a woman is not in
her face, the true beauty in a
woman is reflected in her soul. It
is the care that she lovingly gives
and the passion that she shows.
City First brings to you the in-
spiring story of Ananya Tyagi, a
young woman who has achieved remark-
able success despite facing many chal-
lenges along the way. Ananya’s journey
has been nothing short of a thrilling roll-
ercoaster ride, filled with ups and downs,
twists and turns. Growing up, Ananya
dreamed of becoming a doctor, but fate
had different plans for her. At just 15
years old, she found herself drawn to the
world of beauty pageants, despite know-
ing very little about them. But convinc-
ing her conservative father to support
her was no easy task. Undeterred, Anan-
ya embarked on a journey of self-discov-
ery and personal growth. Anybody can
quit. Only a real champion and a per-
son of character and strength can
keep going and refuse to give up.
Talking about failures and her sup-
port system the diva said, “I joined
the Tiara Pageant Training Stu-
dio in 2019, and after that, I par-
ticipated in two pageants, but
unfortunately, I couldn’t win the
title. Despite participating in
two pageants and not winning
either, she refused to give up. In
2022, she entered Miss Teen
Diva with renewed determi-
nation, but once again, fate
had other plans. Despite the
setbacks, Ananya never lost
sight of her dreams with the un-
wavering support of her father ex-
pressing gratitude for the support she
received throughout her Miss Teen Diva
2022 journey
, she enthused, “I am also im-
mensely grateful to the esteemed Gla-
manand Group led by Nikhil Anand and
the visionary Jagdeesh Chandra sir for
providing me with this exquisite plat-
form to showcase my innate talents,
and for guiding me through this re-
markable journey
.”
Through her journey, Ananya has
learned that failure is not the
end, but rather a stepping stone
to success. She believes that the
challenges she faced have made her
stronger and more resilient, searing her
with scars that have transformed her
into a massive character.
Ananya’s ultimate goal is to represent
India on a global scale and bring honour
and dignity to her country. She is also
considering becoming an IAS officer
to make her father proud, with the
aim of passing the UPSC by 2024-
2025. Despite facing numerous
challenges, Ananya has
emerged as a shining dia-
mond, polished and spec-
tacular.

icture a Tyrannosaurus rex, that ferocious yet
one of the most beloved dinosaurs. Most people
will probably imagine a scaly giant with enor-
mous fangs, visible even when its mouth is closed.
This is the image of toothy predatory dinosaurs
that popular culture has perpetuated for over 30
years. But our new study, published in Science,
suggests that even the giant teeth of Tyranno-
saurus would have been sheathed in scaly lips.
Palaeontologists and artists have held different
opinions on how dinosaur faces looked since we
began recreating their form in the 1830s. From
the 1980s onwards, artists and scientists have
mostly shown theropod dinosaurs with lipless
mouths and exposed teeth. No specific study or
fossil discovery inspired this look. The wide-
spread adoption of the lipless dinosaur reflected
a preference for a new, ferocious-looking aesthet-
ic rather than a scientific re-think.
This is not to say that lipless theropods are sci-
entifically baseless. Living cousins of dinosaurs,
the crocodylians (crocodiles and alligators), and
the only surviving dinosaur group, birds, both
have hard, immobile tissue around their jaws
rather than the scaly lips of lizards. We found
that predatory dinosaurs probably had lips like
those you’d find on a lizard.
One part of our research looked at tooth dam-
age. Exposed teeth show greater wear than those
behind lips – for example, crocodylians have sig-
nificant abrasion on their outer teeth. But when
we examined theropod teeth using microscopes
and compared them with crocodylian teeth, we
found theropod teeth were considerably less
damaged. This is not the only difference
between theropods and crocodylians.
All reptiles have small holes in their
jaw bones that house blood vessels
and nerves for their oral skin
and gums, usually just millime-
tres wide. Lipped reptiles, liz-
ards and tuataras (the last
survivors of a group of liz-
ard-like reptiles from the age
of dinosaurs), have relatively
few of these holes and they are
mostly positioned close to their
teeth. Crocodylian skulls, how-
ever, are covered in hundreds of
tiny openings that are related to
their sensitive, tight facial skin.
We found theropod jaw bones are more
like lizards’ and have a low number of open-
ings close to their jaw margins. This is also
true of crocodylians’ ancient, extinct rela-
tives. This implies that the unusual facial
anatomy of living crocodylians evolved with-
in their own lineage, not as a shared feature
with the dinosaur/bird line.We also looked at
tooth size, because some predatory dinosaurs
had much bigger teeth than any living reptiles,
and this might have prevented them from being
enveloped inside lips. We calculated a ratio of
tooth height and skull length for theropods.
Then we compared this with the same value
for monitor lizards, the lipped group that
includes the only living animal comparable
to large theropods in its feeding habits, the
komodo dragon. Our comparisons revealed
that no predatory dinosaurs – even the big-
toothed T. rex – had teeth
larger than living lizards.
Indeed, species like the
crocodile monitor have
proportionally larger
teeth than any theropod,
so there’s no reason to
think dinosaur teeth were
too big to be covered by
lips. Finally, we modelled
the mechanics of how lipless theropod jaws
would close, and found it impossible for some
theropods to seal their mouths without lips. The
best we could manage was a gappy smile. Forcing
jaws into a full seal either crushed jaw-support-
ing bones or dislocated the jaw joint. With per-
manently open mouths, these theropods would
have faced issues with their oral health and
risked dehydration.

As AI continues to develop, we can expect to see further enhancements in efficiency, safety, and decision-making, transforming the way we interact with the world and redefining the future of enterprises and jobs orArtificialIntelligencemayhave a simple guiding principle: think simple. Yet, the impact of AI on businesses, industries, and jobs is anything but straightforward. Rapid advancements in AI tech- nology have given rise to machine learning, computer perception, and reasoning capabilities that are fundamentally transforming the way we interact with technol- ogy and the world around us. At the heart of AI lies the abil- ity to process and analyze vast amounts of data quickly and ac- curately ,makingitanindispensa- ble tool across a range of indus- tries, fromhealthcareandfinance to transportation and manufac- turing. AI-driven robots are per- forming surgeries and driving cars, while AI-powered algo- rithms are predicting stock mar- ket trends and optimizing busi- nessoperations.Furthermore,AI isidentifyingpatternsinmassive datasets, empowering companies to make well-informed decisions. A simple utility of AI for writing emails and replies to emails will have large impact on jobs and many businesses. Softwares like Xgenplus have already added ca- pabilities to compose emails and replies and use can simply copy paste and send them. Government of India has started using artificial religions in their project called Bhashini where speech to text and text to speech for all in the languages is being practiced and available via APIs. This is revolutionary in many ways. Artificial intelligence (AI) has had a profound impact on busi- nesses across various industries. This technology has been instru- mental in shaping the way organ- izationsfunction, makedecisions, and interact with customers. Here are some key ways AI has impacted the business landscape AUTOMATION AI-powered systems can per- form repetitive and time-con- suming tasks more efficiently, leading to cost savings and in- creased productivity. This in- cludes everything from simple data entry to more complex func- tions like customer service, mar- keting, and supply chain man- agement. DATA ANALYSIS AND DECISION MAKING AI can analyze large datasets quickly and accurately, enabling businesses to make more in- formed decisions. This helps or- ganizations identify trends, make predictions, and optimize operations, leading to improved efficiency and competitive ad- vantage. PERSONALIZATION AI-driven algorithms can ana- lyze user behavior, preferences, and habits to provide personal- ized experiences and recommen- dations. This can help business- es target marketing efforts more effectively, leading to increased customer engagement, loyalty, and revenue. IMPROVED CUSTOMER SERVICE AI chatbots and virtual assis- tants can help businesses pro- vide 24/7 support, handle cus- tomer inquiries more effectively , and resolve issues faster. This results in increased customer satisfaction and retention rates. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AI tools can streamline recruit- ment, onboarding, and employee evaluation processes. They can identify top talent, analyze per- formance data, and recommend targeted training to help employ- ees develop their skills. INNOVATION AI can foster innovation by ena- bling businesses to explore new markets, create new products and services, and optimize exist- ing ones. This can lead to growth and increased market share. ENHANCED SECURITY AI-powered systems can detect and prevent cybersecurity threats and fraud more effective- ly, helping businesses protect their valuable data and intellec- tual property . SUPPLY CHAIN OPTIMIZATION AI can improve forecasting, in- ventory management, and de- mand planning, helping busi- nesses optimize their supply chain and reduce costs. As AI continues to advance and its adoption increases, its impact on businesses is likely to become even more significant. Businesses that invest in AI and adapt to its capabilities will like- ly have a competitive edge in the evolving marketplace The advent of AI and automa- tion will lead to the transforma- tion of the job market and the disappearance of certain jobs. While it is difficult to predict precisely which jobs will be- come extinct. Following types of jobs are likely to be affected due to the AI advancements DATA ENTRY AND DATA PROCESSING AI algorithms and robotic pro- cess automation (RPA) are be- coming increasingly efficient in performing data entry tasks, re- ducing the need for human inter- vention in these roles. REPETITIVE MANUFACTURING JOBS Automation and robotics have already begun to replace many assembly line and manufactur- ing roles that involve repetitive tasks, as machines can perform these tasks with higher efficien- cy and precision. ROUTINE CUSTOMER SERVICE AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants can handle a wide range of customer service in- quiries, leading to a decline in the need for human customer service representatives, particu- larly in roles that involve an- swering common questions or providing standard information. RETAIL CASHIERS Self-checkout kiosks and auto- mated payment systems are in- creasingly being implemented in retail stores, reducing the de- mand for human cashiers. BOOKKEEPING AND ACCOUNTING AI-powered software can now handlemanybookkeepingandac- counting tasks, such as tax prepa- ration, invoice processing, and fi- nancial reporting, which could impact accounts professional. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT NowAIenginewillwritethecode on the text directions to create a simple app or a website complete- ly integrated with user valida- tion and payment gateways which means in few minutes and mobile app could be ready . GRAPHIC DESIGNERS AI tools have now empowered to create an image out of the subject given in the text such as give me a logo of green and red colour with nobackgroundanditwillgiveyou imageandoff courseyoucanmod- ify them with further directions. AI: SHAPING THE FUTURE OF HUMANITY AI is not only the driving force behind emerging technologies such as big data, robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT), but it is also poised to continue lead- ing technological innovation for years to come. In everyday life, AI simplifies our interactions with technology through voice- activated virtual assistants and automated customer service chatbots, streamlining our rou- tines and enhancing overall ef- ficiency . One example of AI’s potential to revolutionize workplace safe- ty and efficiency is the integra- tion of machine learning and computer vision in the detection and classification of various safety events. IFM, a company specializing in AI-driven ware- house safety devices, offers a prime illustration of this. Their shoebox-sized devices are equipped with cameras that monitor forklift operators’ ac- tions, the speed of the vehicles, the surrounding environment, and other operators’ maneuvers. By automatically detecting safety violations and alerting warehouse managers, IFM’s AI- powered devices aim to prevent accidents and improve overall efficiency. In fact, the mere awareness of these devices has had a profound effect on work- place behavior. According to IFM’s CEO, the abundance of in- formation captured by inexpen- sive cameras, thanks to the wide- spread use of smartphones, has significantly benefited their AI systems. As more customers adopt these systems, the software learns and improves, detecting more relevant signals and con- tributing to a safer and more ef- ficient work environment. AI also can have impact which are uncontrollable and could be dangerous in many ways. We also need to exercise discipline and policy control on its use to avoid some impact which could be dangerous for man kind. In conclusion, the impact of AI on businesses and jobs is far- reaching, with its potential ex- tending across industries and into our everyday lives. As AI continues to develop, we can ex- pect to see further enhance- ments in efficiency, safety, and decision-making, transforming the way we interact with the world and redefining the future of enterprises and jobs. JPC/004/2022-24 Rajendra Chhabra Jaipur: The Education Department is, as of now, completely at the mercy of God. Five sen- ior posts in the depart- ment are currently ly- ing vacant which in- clude the chairs of Sec- retary and four Deputy Secretaries. Head of the Depart- ment, ACS Pawan Ku- mar Goyal, retired on January 30, yet the DoP has not made any ap- pointment on this ma- jor post of such a major department. The addi- tional charge of this post is on ACS Aparna Arora of Revenue De- partment. There are a total of four posts of Deputy Secretaries in the de- partment and it is sur- prising that as on to- day, all these posts are lying vacant and the responsibilities of five senior officials is on a single JS. She is engrossed in the marathon work of constitution of new districts and thus, she does not have the time to look into the works related to Education De- partment. She only clears the routine files. Without the Deputy Secretaries, the num- ber of files have amassed in four offices. On top of that, the rules denote that only after passing through deputy minister Zahida Khan will the files go to Min- ister Bulakidas Kalla and the handful of files that are being passed, that too are taking sev- eral days to pass through deputy minis- ter’s office. State elections should be contested on the issue of good gov- ernance. Many schemes of Rajasthan have been included in Congress manifesto in Karnata- ka,” Gehlot said. The CM said that Congress govt gave RTI, RTE law to the country . “MNREGA scheme also contributed by Con- gress government. Hit- ler Mussolini became popular by talking about religion, later they ruined the coun- tries. PM is welcomed in foreign countries be- cause he comes from Gandhiji’s country. Most people will probably imagine a scaly giant with enor- mous fangs, visible even when its mouth is closed. This is the image of toothy predatory dinosaurs that popular culture has perpetuated for over 30 years. But our new study, published in Science, suggests that even the giant teeth of Tyranno- saurus would have been sheathed in scaly lips. Palaeontologists and artists have held different opinions on how dinosaur faces looked since we began recreating their form in the 1830s. From the 1980s onwards, artists and scientists have mostly shown theropod dinosaurs with lipless mouths and exposed teeth. No specific study or fossil discovery inspired this look. The wide- spread adoption of the lipless dinosaur reflected a preference for a new, ferocious-looking aesthet- ic rather than a scientific re-think. This is not to say that lipless theropods are sci- entifically baseless. Living cousins of dinosaurs, the crocodylians (crocodiles and alligators), and the only surviving dinosaur group, birds, both have hard, immobile tissue around their jaws rather than the scaly lips of lizards. We found that predatory dinosaurs probably had lips like those you’d find on a lizard. One part of our research looked at tooth dam- age. Exposed teeth show greater wear than those behind lips – for example, crocodylians have sig- nificant abrasion on their outer teeth. But when we examined theropod teeth using microscopes and compared them with crocodylian teeth, we found theropod teeth were considerably less damaged. This is not the only difference between theropods and crocodylians. All reptiles have small holes in their jaw bones that house blood vessels and nerves for their oral skin and gums, usually just millime- tres wide. Lipped reptiles, liz- ards and tuataras (the last survivors of a group of liz- ard-like reptiles from the age of dinosaurs), have relatively few of these holes and they are mostly positioned close to their teeth. Crocodylian skulls, how- ever, are covered in hundreds of tiny openings that are related to their sensitive, tight facial skin. We found theropod jaw bones are more like lizards’ and have a low number of open- ings close to their jaw margins. This is also true of crocodylians’ ancient, extinct rela- tives. This implies that the unusual facial anatomy of living crocodylians evolved with- in their own lineage, not as a shared feature with the dinosaur/bird line.We also looked at tooth size, because some predatory dinosaurs had much bigger teeth than any living reptiles, and this might have prevented them from being enveloped inside lips. We calculated a ratio of tooth height and skull length for theropods. Then we compared this with the same value for monitor lizards, the lipped group that includes the only living animal comparable to large theropods in its feeding habits, the komodo dragon. Our comparisons revealed that no predatory dinosaurs – even the big- toothed T. rex – had teeth larger than living lizards. Indeed, species like the crocodile monitor have proportionally larger teeth than any theropod, so there’s no reason to think dinosaur teeth were too big to be covered by lips. Finally, we modelled the mechanics of how lipless theropod jaws would close, and found it impossible for some theropods to seal their mouths without lips. The best we could manage was a gappy smile. Forcing jaws into a full seal either crushed jaw-support- ing bones or dislocated the jaw joint. With per- manently open mouths, these theropods would have faced issues with their oral health and risked dehydration. P found theropod teeth were considerably less damaged.
