2. The Birds and the Flowers
Jesus said, “I tell you not to worry about
everyday life—whether you have enough
food and drink, or enough clothes to wear.
Look at the birds. They don’t plant or
harvest or store food in barns, for your
heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you
far more valuable to him than they are?

Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as

today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he
will certainly care for you.”

4. The Prodigal Son
Jesus told many stories about God’s Love. For
example, He said, "There was a man who had two
sons. The younger son told his father, 'Father, I
want my inheritance now!' So the father divided his
property between his two sons.
"Soon the younger son gathered all that he had and
went far away and wasted his money.

"After that, a severe famine happened in the land where the younger son was, and he had no money to
buy food. So he took the only job he could find, feeding pigs. He was so miserable and hungry that he
wanted to eat the pigs' food."
"Finally, the younger son said to himself, 'What am I doing? All my father's servants have plenty to eat,
and yet here I am starving. I will go back to my father and ask to be one of his servants.'"
6. The younger son started back towards his
father's home.
When his father saw him, he ran to his son
and hugged him and kissed him. The father
told his servants, 'Go quickly and bring the
best clothes and put them on my son! Put
a ring on his finger and put sandals on his
feet. Let’s have a feast and celebrate,
because my son was dead, but now he is
alive! He was lost, but now he is found!'

7. Jesus Blesses the Children
One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the
disciples scolded the parents for bothering him.
When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children
come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these
children.” Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.

8. Jesus Dies for Us
Jesus did many miracles. He walked on the water, calmed storms, healed the sick, brought the dead back
to life and fed 5,000 people with only five loaves of bread and two fish.
Jesus was also a great teacher. Jesus taught that God loved everyone very much and that He wanted to
forgive them and make them His children.
However, the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem refused to believe that Jesus was the Messiah and were
planned to kill him.

9. Jesus chose to die for us. By his death, he opened a pathway for us to come to God
All of us at times have done wrong and our mistakes and sins separate us from God, Who is perfect. In
order to bring us to God, Jesus, the Son of God, took the punishment for our sins, that through His
sacrifice, we can be forgiven and saved.

10. Joseph and Nicodemus, two Jewish leaders who believed Jesus was the Messiah, wrapped Jesus’ body in
cloth and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then they rolled a large stone in front of the tomb to block
the opening.
Three days later some of the women who followed Jesus went to his tomb to put spices on the body. To
their surprise, the stone was rolled away and the body was gone!
An angel said to the women, "Jesus is not
here. He has risen from the dead!"

11. Over the course of forty days Jesus appeared to his
disciples and followers a number of times. On the
fortieth day, Jesus said to his disciples, "Remember, I
will always be with you." Then Jesus ascended into
heaven.

Jesus, I want you to be part of my life. Please come into
