Academy – Food Traceability Training
GS1 Academy provides the industries with various range of training areas to
support users understand and implement GS1 global standard. To uplift
traceability awareness on food safety, our Food Traceability Training
which is developed based on the Global GTS standard has been started
since end October 2014 and until now over 60 companies have been
trained for this training.

Recognition– Quality Food Traceability Scheme
The GS1’s GTS has been applied in "Quality Food Traceability Scheme",
a scheme launched by GS1 Hong Kong to recognize and reward local
enterprises who demonstrate excellence in food traceability practices.
In 2015, 14 food pioneers have been awarded for the scheme.

Tie up with product traceability, a cold chain management solution has
been introduced to the industry which is based on EPCIS standards to
provide supply chain visibility on temperature monitoring of any goods in a
real time basis.
GS1HK’s cold chain management solution enable companies to enhance

Anti-Counterfeit
To engage and maintain consumer relationship, the industry is moving
towards digital means to engage consumer more directly and instantly. To
support on this, GS1 Hong Kong has offered Value+ a Consumer Trust
Solution, the solution supports the company to serialize its product by
adapting SGTIN. Though a scan of the QR code of the product which stored
SGTIN and extended product information, consumer can access the details
product information, track and trace information as well as loyalty campaigns
information.
