1. Gary St Clare
Gary St Clare is a digital artist who was born and raised in New York, Manhattan. He began his
formal art training at LaGuardia High School of the Arts in New York City with a concentration
in Art & Music. Gary St. Clare studied at the Art Students League for Illustration. He built a
strong portfolio and continued on to the School of Visual Arts (SVA). In his second year at SVA
majored in Graphics Design where he combined graphics, photography & typography.
2. After graduating SVA he embarked on one year assignment in Barcelona, Spain for DDBN
worldwide. Gary Clare began a career of working with different companies like Verve Jazz,
where he redesigned CD packaging for major artist like Herbie Hancock, Oscar Petterson, & Ella
Fitzgerald and many more. The next label he worked for was owned by Richard Branson called
V2 records, he produced a huge range of record sleeves, CDs and posters for major artists like
Moby, Black Crows, White Stripes, Rza, Rick Lee Jones and the list goes on.
4. St. Clare’s experience in the commercial world has enabled him to produce work that
represents other people’s vision. Currently, he is producing work that is non-commercial, and
that is about his vision. His work presents his personal stance on life that audience can
universally be touched and relate to. Gary St Clare is on a lifelong quest to refine his artistic
knowledge and technique to express what surrounds him as a member of the society.
