3. 2. PUT YOURSELF ON THE MAP All Year 7s are eligible to receive a free Ordnance Survey map at the start of the new school year. Imagine these maps arrive in your school. Produce a lesson which uses the map as a place for TELLING STORIES. e.g. Take a 5 x 5 square and imagine who lives there, what activity might take place and tell a story using a particular type of media....
4. 3. MAKE A WORDLE Wordle is a web-based tool which enables the creation of a tag-cloud, where the size is proportional to the number of times the word appears. http://wordle.net Think about how this might be used as a lesson resource, or as a piece of work for students.
