  3. 3.  International Tourism is one of the oldest and huge source of foreign income to the host country.  Not only the country which are developed but the country which are less developed or developing can make a good chunk of foreign money by the help of Tourism.
  4. 4.  France is one of the many countries which plays a very important role in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).  It brings in large amounts of income in payment for goods and services available, contributing an estimated 5% to the wolrdwide GDP and it creates opportunities for employment in the service industries associated with Tourism.

What does it include  Transportation service  Accommodations  Hospitality service  Airlines, Cruises ships and taxicabs  All these activities ultimately provides the spreading of culture and makes the host country known worldwide along with the produce, employment and good amount of money.
  6. 6.  France attracted 78.95 million foreign tourists in 2010, making it the most popular tourist destination in the world.  Paris, the capital city, is the most visited city in the world.  Paris has some of the world’s largest and renowed museums, including the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay.  French Riviera.  Loire Valley.  Tourist also travel to see the anual cycle race, the Tour de France.
  7. 7.  Theme Parks:  Disneyland Paris is France’s and indeed Europe’s most popular theme park, with 15,405,000 combined visitors to the resort’s Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park in 2009.  Other popular theme Parks are the Futuroscope of Poitiers and the Parc Astérix.  -Eiffel Tower  Louvre Museum  Palace of Versailles  Musée d’Orsay  Arc de Triomphe

The advantage here is the DT and international tourims can be segregated easily owing to the different in the period of holidays. Threats  Political turbulence  Aggressive strategies adopted by other countries in promoting tourims affects the tourims of the other countries.
  10. 10. Solutions  Allow corporate sponsorship for heritage buildings.  Create experiences, not sightseeing spots.  Build great roads and access point.  Aggressive tourims marketing trategies.  Sell niche tourims áreas separetely.
