The Kėdainiai Free Economic Zone was established in 2012 on 130.55 hectares of land, with 94.07 hectares available to rent for business. The zone has established infrastructure including streets, lighting, electricity, gas, sewage, water supply and rail access. It offers preferential tax rates including no corporate tax for the first 6 years and only 7.5% for the next 10 years if over 1 million euros is invested, as well as no real estate or dividend taxes for foreign investors. The region has a strong industry and attracts the most foreign direct investment in the county.

Investments
A significant part of Kėdainiai and its district‘s development is
