A significant part of Kėdainiai and its district‘s development is
affected by the support received from the European Union and
other foreign funds. EU funds contribute to the improvement of
district‘s transport and engineering supply infrastructure, mod-
ernisation of education, culture, health, social services, etc.
FEZ is designed to develop economic-commercial and financial activities. It provides
exceptional preferential economical and legal conditions:
• No corporate tax during the first 6 years and only 50% of corporate tax over the 	
next 10 years if no less than 1 million Euros in fixed assets is invested;
• No real estate tax;
• No tax on dividends for foreign investors in Kėdainiai FEZ.
