8. The Opportunity: Senior Human
Resources Business Partner
As Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will enable our leadership
team to confidently lead their teams to ever further success. Through strategic
people programs (org design, career planning, values and behaviors, and
performance development) and partnering with our HR Operations Lead (who is
supporting the employees with an operational view), you will be tasked with
building a center of excellence around what it takes for our leaders and their
direct reports to feel supported, challenged, and enabled to reach our goals. This
position begins as an individual contributor role that reports to our Director of
People Ops and as BetterUp’s human resources needs grow this role will also
have increased leadership opportunities.

stellar ideas company-wide.
• You will begin to act as a key advisor
to our leaders on all things people,
making sure they have the tools and
knowledge to tackle some sticky HR
issues on their own .

10. What you will bring to BetterUp:

● 8+ years of people operations or human resources experience, 3+ of those years as a
Human Resources Business Partner
● A true passion for the HR space, excited about innovative and new HR practices
(you lack a “playbook” mentality)
● Experience building and scaling HR processes within a fast-growing company
● An advanced degree, PHR, or SPHR certification
● Experience leading a team a plus
● An alignment with the BetterUp vision and mission; to inspire and help
professionals live with greater clarity, purpose, and passion
