due to my husband’s job. This move has given me the opportunity to
explore different occupational avenues and try my hand at a new and challenging career. I found out
about this job opening from an online job search and am excited for the opportunity to immerse myself in
a new profession. I am a quick learner and my teaching background has helped me to gain a variety of
skills that I feel would be a benefit to and a great addition to any company/business. I have heard great

You are probably wondering what I have to offer your company to help it maintain a good reputation. I
am a hard worker, responsible, and work well with others. I get along with people easily and am very
outgoing. I always try to keep a smile on my face and make others happy as well. I am positive, smart,
creative, patient, collaborative, and have great communication and leadership skills. I love meeting new
people and getting to know them. I value community, honesty, and service. I have a get it done and done
right mentality, I am a problem solver, and love a good challenge. Lastly, I have found it to be one of the
most rewarding jobs to wake up every day knowing that what I do will have a positive impact on
someone’s life or the community and hope to continue doing so.
As the enclosed resume shows, communication, teaching, leadership, and family service have always
been major interests in my life. Because of the compassion I hold towards others and my ambition to
make a difference, I have always held these interests close to my heart. Since the time I was old enough
to work I have held several child care, teaching, leadership, and service related positions. I have also
attended many leadership and communication classes, conferences, and camps focused on the
improvement of family life and children.
These experiences have helped me grow as an individual and learn the skills that have made me who I am
today. I am a high honors college graduate with a major in elementary education and am currently a first
grade teacher. This position would be a great opportunity for me not only to learn and grow as an
individual, but will also give me a chance to explore different career paths. I am very motivated and
always try my best in all I do.
