As a startup, Paintbox is always innovating for growth through researching new business and branding concepts. The role of Brand Coordinator is to liaise between studio operations and management by keeping things running in all areas, updating social media, assuring quality control, and completing various research projects and tasks. Through this role, skills in areas like branding, marketing, data analytics, customer service, and strategy were honed.

business and branding concepts. Constantly searching, presenting,
and implementing new ideas regarding topics such as augmented
reality, engagement, recruiting, and social media.
A Modern Manicure Studio

2. As the Brand Coordinator . . .
This role supports the overall mission of
Paintbox through its nature as a liaison
between studio operations and management.
The brand coordinator keeps things running
in all areas, from the corporate office to the
studio desk.
Impact and Future
While at Paintbox, I realized what I enjoyed most and
now I strive to hone those skills. I am inspired to
pursue branding, marketing, and data analytics, as
certain hard skills prove to be an area of needed
improvement for the future.
My goal for the next co-op is to find a slightly more
structured position within the beauty industry in order
to test different waters and to more definitively
discover in which aspects I thrive most.
Tasks include updating social media
outlets, assuring quality control, sending
weekly emails to all staff, while
completing various research projects and
tasks.
This position required an orientation and
sporadic training sessions, as the culture
is casual, yet cutting-edge and fast-paced.
Social media, creativity, problem solving,
multitasking, and customer service are a
few skills needed for this role.
Skills gained include Google analytics,
Booker, and other soft skills such as
customer service, branding, analyzing,
and strategy.
