Project Stage: DA
Involvement: Sole drafter
responsible ultimately for the
production of a DA set.
The Project: A knockdown +
rebuild of an existing Bronte
residence to two separate,
yet attached, dwelling houses.
It is sited in a unique location in
Bronte; overlooking Waverley
cemetery and with only
one neighbouring property.
The project aims to achieve
subdivision under Torrens
Title and as such consistent
collaborative relations with the
town planner were necessary.

Project Stage: DA
Involvement: Drafter within a
small team responsible for
portions of the DA package.
The Project: Alternations and
additions of a semi-detached
dwelling to create a new
garage and attic extension.
The project is located in Bondi
and was commissioned in
response to several renovation
works in the existing area.
An enclosed garage and
extended attic were required
with care being taken to
ensure the proposed works
not only reflected the
contextual volumes, but also
fell within council controls.

The Project: This
project involved intense
masterplanning and the
subsequent development
of a transport interchange
at Circular Quay.
Activation of the public realm
was the most significant
key move: by relocating
the heavy-rail beneath the
existing station structure it
enabled the creation of a grand
public square for Sydney,
improving permeability to the
harbour precinct and enabling
opportunities for private
infrastructure to be re-
utilised as public parklands
and community spaces.

The Project: This project
involved the masterplanning
an educational precinct in the
Boonoo Boonoo national park;
in far north-western NSW.
Sensitivity to the natural
surrounds was paramount;
with my proposal exploring
notions of sustainable design
+ how these principles
can become educational
tools for the users.
