Five year plan

1. Five Year Plan
The position where I am now, in correlation to the career path that I have chosen is very
sustainable so far because I have acquired, I would say, a high-quality set of skills within my
medium of various different medias from the one year of the level 2 creative media course
that I had completed & got a merit on, and the first part of this year of the course that I am
on now, which is the level 3 creative media course, which has certainly boosted my
knowledge of the industry from the level 2 course.
Next year, I will be in my second year of creative media level 3 and depending on what the
outcome of what grade I will get after completing my course, I will either go to university,
apprenticeship or both so that I can maximize my qualifications and more importantly
develop my skills even more, thus enabling me to gain a better chance of getting noticed
within my career path since my skills within my medium would have been improved and
solidified, which will potentially make employers more able to want to employ me if they
see that I am of a certain level of creative media.
Before, throughout and after going through either university, an apprenticeship or both, I
have thought about editing with and alongside my friend’s car company that he will be
joining by potentially making advertisements, producing videos that showcase their cars and
other media-based elements that could help the company media-wise, which would be
good for me, because I can get more experience creating products and editing on a higher
level for companies. Also, I have another friend who edits for Youtubers who lives in
California & New York and he was thinking about recruiting me for this business that he was
thinking of creating where there is a variety of editors within this company that other
creators and people who own company and pay for to produce videos for them at a price so
that the people within who pay us creators get what they want for their own gain for
themselves.
When I am at university and/or at an apprenticeship I will most likely do something to do
with film, video editing or something within those areas of a creative media because that’s
what I’m most passionate about and enjoy doing thus why I’m planning to go into that
direction in the future because I know that, that’s what I will be best at and would enjoy
doing as a job.
From going through various educations and such I would love to continue on to do a job
that involves editing for certain companies to create feasible products so that I get paid and
so that I can get recognition and interconnectedness with people within my subject so that I
can great better opportunities for my self within my field hence allowing a spring board for
my career to thrive and allowing me improve my work and formulating a more structurally
sound surface for my path flow down so that I limit the amount of potholes along the path
thus allowing me to go down my path as efficiently as possible without landing myself into
poor career positions for myself.
