apps and web portalsfor the farmers. Like Kisan
Suvidha,Pusha Krishi, Crop Insurance, Farmers’Portal, mKisan
Portal,
Participatory Guarantee System of India (PGS) Portal etc. As we
know that by the end of 2024 govt. of India has aimed to
increase farmers' income twice.
SMALL FARMERS
Agriculture, with its alliedsectors, is the largest source of
livelihood inIndia.70 percent of its rural householdsstill
depend primarily on agriculture for theirlivelihood,with 82
percent of farmers being small and marginal. Who are small
farmers? According to the USDA, small family farms average
231 acres. The average annualincome (in current prices) per
farm householdfrom all sources at Rs. 1,22,616 in 2018-19.
LITERACY DATA
A recent government study estimated that 32 percent of India's
rural population is illiterate, compared to 15 percent in urban
areas. For farmers, that percentage maybe even higher. It's not

agriculture proves to be difficult for many Indian farmers.
TECHNOLOGY AGENDA
“India has 120 millionfarmers, out of which 30 million use
smartphones and have a basic sense of understandingabout
digitalmarketplaces. Infect some farmers do not have basic
phones.
WHY ENDPOINT
With the fewer numbers of smartphones and educationlevel
how the government thinks that no. of web portals and apps
will help the farmer. This is only a good way to attract investors
but who are the end-users? Our farmers, so it may help the
farmers laterbut for instance, we need more access
connectivity.And channelizethings more easily.
